Bought these for my husband. His favorite pair to wear around home or quick errands out.

I wear a USA size 11. Reading these reviews, a theme seems to be that they are long and narrow. I bought a USA size 10.5. Relevant metrics belowMy foot metrics: 27.5cm long x 10.5cm wideshoe metrics : 28cm long (inside) x 9.5cm wide ( bottom of sole)width of inner removable sole is 9cm widewidth of stitching across the top of the shoe is approx 9cmsquashed flat the shoe is approx 11Cm across.The shoe fits very, very snug on the sides as well as the top.The Q&A above says they will stretch approx 1/4in to 1/2in (0.6cm to 1.2cm) since they are leather.If these shoes stretch the MAXIMUM amount stated then they *might fit. Currently they cut off circulation they are sooo snug. I am going to wear thick wool socks and bear it to try and stretch them. Not worth returning. A normal mens US 11 shoe is approx 27.5cm to 28..3cm depending on what company's sizing chart you look at and these are pretty much that length.The metrics of these are off for an american foot. Even if these shoes stretch I feel they may remain to shallow. I will keep them just to see what happens. I suspect i will end up going with a different brand more true to size. i might update.edit: they loosened up to the point where they are wearable. i cannot 'slip' my foot in, but it goes in the shoe without burdensome effort. The heel stretched a little and i have about half a thumb width b/t my big toe and the tip of the shoe (just like i prefer). I'll use them for what i bought them for ...sandwich runs at the deli around the corner when i don't want to put socks on. THese 10.5 shoes are just a hair shorter than my regular size 11s i wear daily.another edit: they indeed did stretch quite a bit after a week with socks. i can 'slip' my foot in now. i'll bump from 2 to 3 stars. Size is still technically off, but they fit now.
