My flowers are so much happier! Because this hose is so light and easy to handle - no kinking or tangling - I am much more consistent with watering my garden as well as putting the hose away afterwards. The brass fittings are strong with rubber washers that prevent leaking. The nozzle is easily adjustable with a catch to hold it open and an extra valve to decrease or shut off the flow. I keep my Gada hose in a shady, sheltered spot through the summer and bring it inside when temps approach freezing. It is much easier to store than those old rubber hoses. Our water pressure is not sufficient to inflate the hose to the entire length of 100 ft. Nor does it seem to shrink all the way down to its original dimensions when the water is shut off, but it works perfectly for me. I enjoyed my Gada Hose all last summer, and again this spring, but was extremely disappointed when the inner hose apparently snapped and rendered the hose useless. I contacted the seller to explain what happened and to complain that, although the hose suits my needs, I am certainly not willing to pay that price to replace it every year. After reviewing the photos, The seller replaced the hose. I am pleased and I applaud merchants who stand behind their products!

I LOVE this hose! We usually have a long bulky hose strung about our backyard because no one wants to deal with winding it up. And even when the traditional hose was wound up it took up a lot of space. Not anymore! This hose is so lightweight and flexible it is a joy to wind it up after using it. It shrinks to such a small size and hangs easily in the provided hanger. I kept asking my husband if he had checked out the new hose, he didn't understand my excitement until he finally came out and checked it out himself and immediately understood my going on and in about it. He too loves this hose. My kids are fascinated by it as well, we all think watching it fill and expand is similar to watching snakes expand on the 4th of July, it's fun to watch. We've only had it a few days, so far it's a dream. I'll update my review if anything changes. I'm about to order another for the front yard.

Burst after approximately 25 uses over 22 months; I downgraded my rating from 5 stars I gave when I first used it. It did last longer than my previous 2 expandable hoses, so hopefully the next one will be further improved. Despite taking care not to use too much water pressure, it burst in the middle (connection ends were strong). I am concerned about the wasted natural resources in manufacturing these, and the impact on landfill disposal, because unlike rubber or vinyl hoses, these cannot be repaired for extended use.Others complained about the spray nozzle, but I don't see anything wrong with it. It is made of plastic, just like most nozzles of this kind which are sold in stores, and works just fine.

I have read the reviews and concur this hose is great WHILE IT LASTED which was approximately 3 weeks. NOW it reminds me of a very large DEAD red snake curled up on my deck, Off to the garbage it will go. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!I approximately water my plants in their deck planters maybe 2 to 3 times a week rain dependent. My husband bought me this hose for me because he thought it would be easier to water with a compact hose than a traditional PVC composite long hose. I was using my water soluble chemical reservoir attached to the hose when the inner hose cracked and shot water around. It sounded like a firecracker exploding in my hand.YES he bought two of these hoses for me as a gift in the beginning of this year, but I was not until 3 weeks ago I started to use one of the hoses. My old trustworthy green beast was put to its early grave by a 16 year old on a lawn mower. Back to the hardware store to purchase another green beast.

I bought one of these hoses in April 2017 and another in June 2017. I have purchased expandable hoses before because the weight of a 50 ft. hose is just too much for me to drag around my yard. I have not had luck with cheaper expandable hoses - leaks, connection failures, etc. I thought that SURELY for the price of this hose, I could depend on it to last longer than one watering season but that is not to be. Within the past week, both hoses have failed. Both sprung leaks at the brass connection going into the sprayer. I am not abusing these hoses - I turn off the water and drain them after each use, I don't pull on them to expand past their limitations, I store them when not in use in their own little baskets - I am kind to my hoses. After spending almost $100 for two "heavy duty" expandable hoses, all I have gotten is drenched when the brass connection suddenly disconnects from the hose during watering chores. This is just not right.

Unusable after two summers of use. Big break under the plastic guard just past the connector. I took good care of this hose because it was so expensive. I stored it in my garage in the winter, but still didn't last very long. For a 51.00 dollar hose, it should last much longer. Worked well up until it had a major leak. Unfortunately it only has a one year warranty, so I'm out of luck to get a replacement. I see the price is down to 35.00 now, probably due to all the bad reviews.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because cactus barba cause tiny leaking holes. I try to be so careful, too, but after a few weeks, I have 2 leaks. You people in the rest of the country may really love the hose!

The best hose of this type on the market !

I bought 2 of these for two different places. We used them only indoor with tap water so no extreme cold or hot weather and water. Both burst after 6-7 months. Total waste of money.
