I am almost completely convinced that the object that crashed near Roswell was composed of materials not common on Earth. -Major General Kenner F. Hertford, USA (Ret., Dec. 1995) It was a cover story, the balloon part of it. that part of it, was in fact the story we were told to give to the public and the news and that was it. The [actual] remnants, whatever happened to them, I have no knowledge. -Brigadier General Thomas J. DuBose, USAF (Ret., Dec. 1992) The [Roswell] craft was extraterrestrial...and at one time may have been at Wright Patterson in an off-limits area. -Brigadier General Harry N. Cordes, USAF (Ret., Dec. 2004) They knew they had something new in their hands. the metal and material was unknown to anyone I talked to. A couple of guys thought it might be Russian, but the overall consensus was that the pieces were from space. -Brigadier General Arthur E. Exon, USAF (Ret., Dec. 2005) I'm sure if there were any answers [about Roswell] they would have told him [President Clinton] while he was in the White House. -General Wesley K. Clark Sr., USA (Ret.) I have been informed by higher officers at the Pentagon that there still exists a Top Secret UFO project. That's where your Roswell file is. -Brigadier General Richard Mitchell, USA (Ret.)) The stuff I saw, I've never seen anyplace else in my life. It was the strangest thing I ever saw. -General William H. Blanchard, USAF (Dec., 1966) Review: Kool Coffee Table Book! - I learned a lot going through this large and heavy (a good thing!) coffee table book. I knew most of the basics/names already but there were other items I did not!!! Many old photos of places/people/diagrams/maps and info/interviews from the actual people and locations that were there and their decedents. I got this book when it first came out last year (2020) for free (with my desertcart whatever points) but is definitely worth the asking price. Many facts/photos etc. not yet shown on TV documentaries plus you can sit and look at and read and re-read stuff at your leisure. You may change your mind about this incident after going through this book. I even put it in a paper grocery bag cover like the old school books. Review: A detailed timeline of events in Roswell in 1947. - This is the most detailed timeline of events in Roswell, NM in 1947. The photos an documents leave the reader with the understanding that an event (of some kind) really happened to real people.

To me, it was worth the price!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have already read all of Tom and Don’s other books. As a Roswell researcher for about 15 years, making 13 trips to Roswell specifically to explore the possibilities of the incident, and reading over twenty books on the subject, it was nice to go over the photos relating to all the Roswell stories—the important and mundane. It’s as if Tom and Don we’re presenting a slideshow of their summer vacation. And because I know all the locations and people, the book is almost like a family photo album allowing me to reminisce about what possibly happened out there in the desert. For me, I feel the price was totally worth it.

Excellent reading
This text gives a full account of the Roswell mystery in pictorial format while not cutting down printed type with explanation. I recommend it.

Regardless of how much you know about Roswell, there will be info here that you've never heard!
This is a fabulous book to add to your collection if you're interested in Roswell! It provides an easy-to-read detailed chronological account of what took place and has excellent photos to tie everything together. Whether you know a little or a lot about Roswell, I guarantee there's things in this book that you've never heard about before. I highly recommend it!

It was a quick read at least.
The book begins by saying they strove for accuracy, but quickly takes off into ET-land. Anything that supported a crashed space ship was writting as fact "Lt Jim saw a body being loaded". But any "official" "explanation" was loaded with "un-necessary quotations". Pictures were nice. It was a quick read. If you're into this stuff, you might enjoy this, but from the back of the book this looks to be the sixth book the pair has written about Roswell. I'm sure they have an "interest" in the "truth" $$$.

Too many redundant and pointless photos
Too many redundant and pointless photos is my main criticism. Like, who needs to see the same picture of some guy that drove the truck over and over and over, or some little shack in the desert where some guy slept. Totally irrelevant. Seemed to me like they were added over and over to increase the size/page count in order to charge more for the book. Another, less serious, criticism is that much of the information is available elsewhere -- there was not that much new. Bottom line: buy another book on Roswell - maybe even two or three could be bought for the price of this one.
