Excellent solution for extra storage!
Managing storage is a constant battle in our household, especially with grandkids’ toys, gardening tools, and some of my elderly father’s equipment taking up space. I purchased this 52 cu.ft KINYING vertical outdoor storage shed to get things organized and out of the garage. Now that I’ve assembled and used it for a while, I can say it’s an excellent solution for extra storage with a few caveats typical of resin sheds. First off, delivery was smooth – the package was large and a bit heavy (two-person lift for most folks, though I managed with a hand truck). Assembly was a task I approached on a cool morning, and it took me roughly 2 hours at a moderate, methodical pace. The instructions were fairly clear, with each plastic panel labeled. All panels and parts (screws, hinges, etc.) were included, and nothing was damaged. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t need any special tools beyond a screwdriver and a little rubber mallet I used to gently tap pieces into place. The plastic is rigid and nicely molded; everything lined up as it should. It’s a tongue-and-groove style assembly, so panels slide and click together, then you secure them with screws at key points. I do recommend having a second person for certain steps – my wife helped by holding panels in place when I was attaching the roof, which saved me a lot of frustration. Once fully assembled, the shed is quite tall (over 6 feet). It’s slim but deep, perfect for the side of our house. The brown color and texture actually look decent in the yard – it’s unobtrusive next to our brown fence and doesn’t scream “plastic shed” from afar. In daily use, this shed has been very handy. I’m storing my lawn mower (handle folded), a small garden hose reel, various long-handled tools (rakes, shovel, broom) and even our two garbage bins fit inside snugly side by side. It’s essentially taken the clutter that was littering the garage and patio and tucked it away neatly. The double doors open wide, making it easy to roll things like the mower or trash cans in and out. The doors have a simple latching mechanism up top and a spot for a padlock. I did add a padlock for peace of mind, since we live in a neighborhood where a wandering raccoon or even a curious person might try the doors. With the lock, everything stays secure. The resin material is waterproof – we’ve had a couple of heavy rainstorms and not a drop got inside. The roof is slightly sloped to shed water. I also like that the unit has a built-in floor (a sturdy resin floor panel); it keeps moisture and bugs from coming up from the ground. I placed the shed on a level concrete pad for best results (the manufacturer suggests a level base). Even during a windy day, the shed has remained stable and doesn’t rattle or anything. One personal touch: I purchased a small set of shelves (designed for these KINYING sheds, sold separately) for the interior so I could organize smaller items like flower pots, sprinkler parts, and my granddaughter’s outdoor toys. Attaching that shelf was straightforward since the interior had pre-molded shelf supports. Now I have one half of the shed with tall space for tools and bins, and one half with a shelf unit for little things – it’s a good use of space. If you’re storing only tall items, you might not need a shelf, but it’s nice to have the option. Weather resistance has been great so far: no leaks, no sun fading yet (though I’ve only had it a few months). We did get a light dusting of snow once, and the roof handled the weight fine (this isn’t a huge shed, so I wouldn’t expect any issues unless we got a major blizzard). I should mention, being plastic, you can’t overload the walls with very heavy items on hooks – I stuck a light-weight coiled hose on a hook and that’s fine, but I wouldn’t, say, hang a heavy steel tool chest door organizer or anything. Use it within reason and it’s perfectly stable. Now, for context, I’m a 57-year-old who’s reasonably handy. I think even if you’re not super handy, you can assemble this because of the clear instructions – just budget an afternoon and perhaps ask a friend to help. One tip: do it on a calm day; wind can catch those broad panels like a sail during assembly, which could be annoying or even risk cracking them if they fell. We assembled ours in our carport then carefully moved it to its final spot. It’s not too heavy once built (two adults can slide or carry it short distances). The result is a very functional and decent-looking storage cabinet that has made our life more organized. Instead of my father’s walker and garden soil bags cluttering the porch, or the granddaughter’s inflatable pool laying in a heap, they’re all stored in this shed out of sight and protected. In conclusion, I’m happy with the KINYING 52 cu.ft vertical shed. It’s roomy, easy to use, and has held up well to the elements so far. It’s not a fortress – it’s a sturdy plastic cabinet – so I set my expectations accordingly. For storing everyday outdoor items, seasonal decorations, or yard equipment, it’s fantastic. My garage is clearer (I can actually park the car now) and the backyard looks tidier. If you need extra storage and don’t want to build a whole wooden shed, this is a smart and relatively affordable alternative. I feel a little more sane now that everything has its place, and even my father (who has dementia) has an easier time navigating the garage without tripping over tools, thanks to this addition. That alone makes it worth it to me!

Nice looking sturdy storage unit with 2 doors. Helpful to have to put it together.
Nice sturdy storage box. It looks good and has an arm that holds up the top when you are getting things out of it.Suggestions- Be sure you pay attention to slots you put pieces into as each piece only goes in one way !! They could be numbered better on the instructions but we did it. It was helpful to have a 2 nd person to stabilize the unit when using mallet to get pieces together and when screwing in the parts to each other. I also sprayed a bit of silicon spray in the slots to make it easier to slip the pieces in place. That helped a lot.I got to taller unit as well and it too is great.I wish they had addons to by for the inside like hooks, small door shelf or even a pegboard type of wall you could add. I did buy the metal shelves for it and they are nice but a bit expensive.

Good shed
Great shed. It took 3 hours for my husband and I to assemble. The panels fit together properly. No missing parts. Instructions were good enough. We recommend this shed.

Cabinet review
Flimsy but does the job. Looks nice. Happy with purchase but wish doors were sturdier. Good for an outdoor deck or patio.

Great on Amazon, not so great on the paper, horrible once assembled
Where to start?1. The instructions are incorrect. There are no 2 panels of 104/105/106... All panels are different. Use them in the wrong order and you will have missing holes to screw the whole thing.2. The pictures are very small. if you get the general idea on what to do, you may face a second challenge, on how to attach this piece. Some pictures that are supposed to zoom, are so small that you'll have to guess how it's supposed to fit.3. Not all panels will be perfect. You can have holes or precut areas that are too small. Some still have extra pieces left by the mold. You would have to trim them to fit with other pieces.4. If you manage to solve this puzzle, you will see that it's not that easy to assemble. Panels do not slide properly. Once assembled, the shed is not sturdy and doors won't align. This is because the shed is not properly squared. Only 4 brackets will hold the top on all 3 walls. Nothing will hold all 3 walls together, nor to the ground panel..5. The bottom is fragile. There is no real support underneath. You can easily damage it if you step inside the shed.6. Missing screws... They are a lot extra screws, fo the ones where you only need 2.. But no extra for the most used. In fact, I was short by 4 from the big bag, and I did not lose them since I was grabbing them one by one from the original bag, when needed7. The way this is built... You will have guaranteed water damage with heavy rain. Luckily for me, mine will stay inside the garage.

Sturdy
Very sturdy. Nice looking. Not difficult to put together. This is my second one. I’ve had the first since 2020 and it’s still in good shape.

Great outdoor shed.
Ok so i read the reviews some complained about instructions and assembly. So we read the instructions all panels are labeled and we took time to check everything in each step. Took two of us about 1,5 hours and we were not rushing. All parts fit together no issue. All the holes were there. It’s a great deal at 400 and it’s sturdy. Thick and solid once it’s all assembled. Very good quality engineered to be easy to assemble. We have it outside by the pool storing all our pool supplies tools etc.
