It is a big deal for our family to have this Kentucky taste anywhere and is definitely worth the cost to get it!!!

Had a friend just move to Arizona and had mentioned this drink i have never tried it until now (Personally im not the biggest fan) HOWEVER!!! I am not accustomed to this taste my friend on the other hand grew up with this drink she describes this as a ginger ale mtn dew mix, and she loves it a few coworkers also tried and seem to like it all can taste the ginger and citrus taste standard 12 oz cans so good size, Shipping came fast before the expected shipping date i do however wish i could find a lower price this was however the lowest price i could find anywhere online.

One of my aunts lives in Kentucky and buys bottles of Ale8 at the factory store. She brought some up to Wisconsin and that's how I got a taste. First bottle I was hooked! Not a big soda drinker but this is now in the rotation for the occasional treat. I'm not advocating binge drinking, but sometimes you're out with the boys and it happens. Next morning take an ibuprofen and drink one of these. Hydration, light sugar, and bit of caffeine to get the fog out. Ginger to settle the stomach so you can eat some greasy breakfast. It works.

Every time I take a sip of this stuff I just want to keep drinking until I finish the entire can. It's phenomenal. A Late One (Ale 8 One or Ale 8 1) is an unusual soda in the sense that it is ginger flavored with a hint of citrus, lightly carbonated, and caffeinated. It is not overly sweet, and contains less sugar than most other sodas. It's clean, refreshing, and different--there is really nothing I can compare it to. Available in both cans and glass bottles, it is great in a can, but absolutely stellar in a glass bottle. The worst part about Ale 8 One is, even though it has been around for about a century, the company isn't very large and so they don't have a large distribution network. As a result, if you live outside of Kentucky/the surrounding areas, you're generally going to have to order it online. And, as soda is heavy, the costs to purchase A Late One is high, especially if you get it in glass bottles. That said, it's totally worth it, as it's a great drink!

Tastes great, with a nice caffeine kick.

Product was great, however it was damaged during shipping and came in a leaking box. 4 had to be thrown out because they were open and leaking. I think they must have froze on the truck. A few more bulged but still sealed. I guess that's what I get for ordering during the winter!

This is used in my house for stomach aches. Always in the cellar.
