Cool pen ๐ ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ
Okay, this pen is kind of cool. The Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.28mm has a really unique designโitโs made out of metal and has an interesting shape that actually makes it feel pretty solid and precise in your hand. The ultra-fine 0.28mm tip is the standout feature for me. Iโm usually someone who writes big and a little messy, but with this pen Iโve actually slowed down and started writing much smaller and more neatly, which is a nice change. It writes smoothly for such a fine tip, and it definitely feels like a high-quality pen. That said, Iโm still a little partial to another pen I use more often, but this one is genuinely fun to write with and feels different in a good way. If you like super fine lines and a more controlled writing experience, this pen is definitely worth trying.

Nice Pen
An amazing pen! What Iโve found with a lot of pens of this diameter is that the ink tends to coagulate a lot quicker and does involve sporadic skipping because of the smaller surface area. Something to get used to as it doesnโt happen very often. With that being said this pen is great, the construction is nice, and once the ink is flowing appropriately it writes extremely well. There is minimal movement that comes when the tip touches the paper and the clip is very easy to use unlike other pens and pencils. I am left handed, and certain pens release too much ink. This one gives just the right amount so it doesnโt look faded, but also not too much to where my hand smears it. Very much a specialty pen that should be used for fine writing and some nice note taking. I wouldnโt recommend to use for quick on the go writing. Something like a 0.5 mm diameter pencil would be the lowest threshold for jotting down something rapidly. Hope this review helps!

Great pen if you're careful with the paper
I bought this for the same reason as many others - comfortable metal body, fine line, refillable therefore reusable, attractive design, and the pen does all that. I use it for sketching and there's only so far you can "push" this pen; meaning that if you want faint construction lines this pen is perfect, however if you want to darken and reveal a sketch then you may want another, separate liner as this pen can only darken "so much" even with multiple passes. With different pens I've used this isn't so much the case but it is an opposite trade-off: for instance with a typical gel pen, your construction lines or guide lines will be much darker than with the Jetstream but when you do finally get to the final inking of a sketch, you can darken chosen lines much better. With this in mind, I do think the Jetstream has the edge as for me, faint thin line are what I wanted to sketch in, and it's probably why you're viewing it and checking reviews. The only caveat, and it's a big one for me which brings me to a point of frustration high enough that I might just stop using the Jetstream, is its inability to perform in my chosen sketchbook. The pen struggles with paper that is suitable for watercolor, to the point that you could make a single continuous stroke across the entirety of a page and get maybe a centimeter of ink to flow. It really is "that" bad. It's usable if you're concentrating really really hard and don't mind going back over the "trench" that the pen gouges into your paper, but it's not fun and makes a drawing look amateurish. This pen "looks" like, and actually performs like, a pen you'd use before a watercolor sketch, but I guess not. However, I switched to a different sketchbook, that is to say a typical sketching book with 80 gsm paper that has just a little bit of "bite," and it's fine. Somewhat inconvenient that I now have a pen and book that won't interact, but it's ok. In this arena the pen is pretty much perfect for what I want. I actually went ahead and bought the red and blue refills, I want other pen bodies so that I don't need to swap cartridges when I'm ready to accent in blue but that's my next point. The pen is expensive. Like, really expensive for what you get. This is Rotring territory, but certainly doesn't act like one. And the fact that there's no included refills is a huge minus in my opinion. All in all, if you can justify the price, get the right paper, and want an attractive "forever pen," this is it. Useful for sketching and I would presume for journaling or note taking it's even better. Overall for me is a 4* value though, because of the price and lack of refills.

Awesome pen!
This is a great pen although I just got it, I can tell it works great and is awesome for my Bible journaling! As you can see in the picture, the font is much smaller and far more readable! It writes smooth, is very comfortable in my hand and feels very durable, the grip is awesome and Iโve had no problems with smearing yet!

VERY Fine Point!
I was stunned at how fine the lines are with this pen. I haven't noticed any skipping at all, writing is very smooth, and the ink generally dries pretty quickly. The pen casing itself feels high quality and durable. It's not uncomfortable to hold.

Heavy barrel, but ink skips sometimes
Its one of my favorite brands of pens to write with! I love the. 28mm tip and how fine it writes, i had the .38mm but decided I wanted to go with the .28mm this time. It also is metal so it has a good weight to it unlike plastic pens, for me it just makes me write better with a heavy pen. The only big issue I have with the pen is the ink will space out or just stop working and skip when writing. When I first got the pen it wrote perfect and half way through its starting to skip a little but ive noticed with all these pens it seems to be an issue, I either clean the tip off or end up replacing the whole ink refill. Over all 90% of the time write really well.

Does not smudge! Best pen ever!
I'm a fan of pointed pens and I may have found my favorite. I love how thin the pen writes and at the same time it has a sharp colored ink. And best of all, it does not smudge! So far, the ink has not skipped. I have not used any other pens since I received this one. And I have ordered 2 more for blue and red inks. It has a nice comfortable grip.

Skipping Ink
Pros: itโs VERY lightweight, the tip is very thin as advertised and sturdy (so it wonโt bend if you write hard) Cons: With my very first use it started skipping (when youโre writing and the ink sporadically stopping and starting as you write, causing breaks in the lines.) but I chalked it up to it being a new pen. I did the typical pen shaking, wetting the tip of the pen with a tap on my tongue (incase it was really dry or something,) scribbled circles and patterns and tried writing out random things, but NOTHING stopped the skipping and nothing at least improved it. I checked the ink and itโs full with no visual oddities found. The ink that does come out is very light and looks like the ink dispersal you would see if a pen is dying out. Itโs not worth the price you pay for pens that are typically this price and straight from Japan. Overall Iโm really bummed and disappointed as the uniball jet streams Iโve ordered have never disappointed me but this one is a waste and does not even serve the simple purpose of writing three letters. The one star is simply for the pen design.

Great Pen
Even thinner than I imagined! Ink was not skippy and wasn't even that scratchy. However I didn't know the top was made of plastic, but this is not a problem as it helps lower weight distribution.

Muy bueno para graficar
Me encanto este lapicero ya que escribe muy suave y es perfecto para graficar por su punta delgada que permite ver lo que estas graficando

Disappointment
I was very excited to buy this pen but I was disappointed by the rough writing of this pen it was not smooth and and sometimes I have to hold the pen in a certain way to write so when I write fast sometimes the letters they don't get written and I have to do it again, I have been writing with it for some days but still the ink is rough like its new and I need to scribble to make it smother but still nothing, it is very weird when you buy a pen at first you need to write with a little bit then the writing get smooth but not in this case it's like It's always new!!
