It doesn't have a screw, but it does have a place where a screw could be inserted. So if your tripod has the screw, it should work (assuming it's the right size. I guess there must be a standard size for such equipment).

Q: How long is the cable that comes with it?

The cable is about 5 feet long.

Q: how can I get the power light to go from red to green?

You have to have a program like ZOOM or a "photo booth" app on your computer to get the camera to light the green light. When you connect to ZOOM, the red light will be on. Once you click the ENABLE VIDEO in ZOOM, then the green light comes on, in addition to the red light staying on.
