These fit the shorter, 12 and 20 pod, iDOO hydroponic unit baskets!
After multiple attempts at finding replacement sponges to fit my 12 pod (ID-IG-301) and 20 pod (I-D-01) iDOO units, I was thrilled to find these! They are nearly identical in size to the original iDOO sponges that came with mine. In my picture, these are on the right and the original sponges are on the left. You can no longer get the short-basket, round, sponges from iDOO, they’ve changed to a longer, thinner basket for these units (similar to an Aerogarden) and they now only offer those, or the square sponges, so these are a great alternative to having to buy a full set of replacement baskets in the new style. My latest batch of lettuce and herbs is doing well in these.

Just what my garden needs
These are great pods for seeding in a hydroponic garden. Fit perfectly in my holders. When they grow as sprouts, I transfer to a pot with soil as a whole. These things maintain hydration giving your plants the water it needs to grow.

Way too small
I have 14 desktop hydroponic systems and I had never come across sponges this size. They are very small and also short. I often plant spinach seeds which are larger than most other seeds I have used. It was a struggle to barely get one seed into the sponge. I also had to push the sponges down into the basket, otherwise the water would not touch them. I will be careful not to order sponges this small in the future.
