I take solo beach trips with my dog during the summer so we tend to pack only the essentials. Ive caught her searching for shade and decided to buy this. I loved that it was lightweight, easy to carry (had handles) and not huge when folded.There's a lot of space for my rat terrier Chihuahua to comfortably sit, stand, and lay down while still enjoying the breeze due to the mesh. I had the "door" folded up so she could easily come in and out but it does zip closed as well.I read reviews about how its difficult to fold back up so do recommend practicing at least 3-4 times before to get the hang of it. After that, you'll be able to easily do it after your beach day

I'm absolutely amazed by how much this sunshade has come to the rescue during the scorching Arizona heat for my tiny 5lb. Bolonka. She adores lounging by the pool under this sunshade and stays cool as a cucumber. Trust me, this sunshade is a total game-changer. I can't recommend it enough.

Two day shipping but took several days to process and we did not get it in time for us to use as intended. Once received it is well built and opened and closed easily. Great for travel or just in the backyard. Open front and see through sides great for a pup that cant miss a thing. Entry is large and doesn't deter from pup wanting to go in. Would have been very useful if we had for our camping trip as shade, a place to lay, and also for rain since even a drizzle scars our dog away. We would for sure use some sort of blanket or pad on the bottom just for added comfort but not needed.

i havent had it for less then a month and theres a hole by the zipper already!

It only blocks the Sun from the top and the right side... the Sun comes through the whole back and the left side...making it hot in there.

I don't live close to a beach, but I work in my yard so much and my pups like to be outside, bur not in the sun. So, this is great. They can be close to where I am working, water and shade for the babies, and so easy to move or fold and put away!!
