have two openers using dip switches, there are only 1 set of dip switches in this remote, how do i program the other door on the other button?

If your two opener with learn button or one opener with learn button,another one with dip switch,you can use it to set for two opener in a remote. But two opener using dip switches,this can't support it. Because this remote with one dip switch. Otherwise your set the two opener with the same dip switch position,if not this will not support two different opener using dip switch in a remote.

Can this be a replacement for the liftmaster g387lm ?

I believe this will work with pretty much all liftmaster openers.

Not sure if that’s your model number for your remote or drive motor, all I can tell you is my Genie opener is 15 years old and this remote works with it.

Help! Won’t close the garage door

Did it open the door? Try reprogramming/matching the unit again with your opener unit. If you can't get it to work, return it for another unit.
