I love this laptop. The battery life is exceptional, it’s very durable and functions well for long periods of use. The screen size is optimal and allows for great movie watching. Value for money for sure. I use this laptop to work virtually so you know is great.

ONE OF MY GIRLS AT WORK NEEDED A NEW COMPUTER WHEN HER OLD ONE DIED SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THIS ONE. IT WORKS WELL FOR EVERY THING SHE DOES TO PROMOTE HER BUSINESS. THE SECOND ONE I BOUGHT TO UPGRADE ONE OF MY OTHER GIRLS. SHE WAS SO HAPPY WITH THIS AND SHE SAYS SHE CAN DO MORE ON THIS ONE THAN THE NOTEBOOK SHE HAD. SHE IS PLEASED WITH THE RED COLOR WHICH IS ONE OF HER FAVORITE COLORS. SO FROM THE TIMES I PURCHASED EACH LAPTOP I HAVE HAD NO COMPLAINTS AND EACH ONE IS FUNCTIONING VERY WELL. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!!

I bought this to replace another laptop that was falling apart. Good thing - I just used the old one's power cord for this one (They're both HP). I'm most aggravated at Microsoft. Edge being the available browser, I tried to download Firefox, but when I tried to go to the Firefox website, MS Edge kicked me off my own freakin' WIFi. The trick is Windows was in "S" mode - you have to log on to MS's website to "switch" out of S mode. From then on, I was able to download the stuff I needed. It's a nice red color, the keyboard is silver with darker silver markings, so the light has to be hitting the keyboard just right, unless you're REALLY good at touch typing. The other thing I have a problem with is there's no indicator that the NUM LOCK is off or on, and it likes to turn itself off, even if you change the registry to make it stay on...so you're happily typing away and need to enter some numbers, you move over to the numeric keypad and start to type numbers and the cursor goes all over the place, especially if you want "7", you're unexpectedly at the top of the page. Other than that, the only other problems I'm having is due to my obsolete software I don't want to give up. LOL. All in all, I'd recommend this computer.

Though this laptop came in s mode you can easily take it out of s mode. The battery lasts a decent length and you can game on it without too many problems. I do not knoe the extent of games that can be played on here and I doubt it can handle hardcore high requirement games but that isnt what this laptop is meant for. You get a decently fast computer that can handle a number of things for a pretty good price. C

2026 Update: I STILL have not had 1 single issue with this laptop: But it now belongs to my parrot, Hank the Bird, so he can watch videos. So I will be buying another one for me LOL; This was listed as ‘Used - Good Condition’ . And if this is what they deem good I would love to see what they list as As New or Great or Very Good …. Seriously… not a scratch… nothing wrong at all. The only thing I’ve noticed is perhaps the battery life is reduced just as all even new laptops, the battery life is decreased within the 1st month or so, but still, it’s around 6 hours. I am very happy with my purchase. I have not had to use their customer service as of yet but that is a good sign LOL

Love the machine. Great for doing what I do with it which is just surfing the Internet ordering parts things like that. The keys on the keyboard are very close in color that is too close to the silver on the key. So it’s a little harder to see their numbers. Not a good typer.

I purchased this in January of this year (2021). Last night I tried to turn it on and nothing. I thought at first maybe the battery had died, so I plugged it in. Nothing. I tried another power cord that matched. Nothing. I handed it to my computer repair/programmer step dad to see if he could figure it out. Nothing. So I reread and dug further into the reviews, plus did some research. THIS IS AN OBSOLETE HP Laptop! HP does not offer any support for obsolete items. Of course, the 90 day time frame is closed so thats a no-go. Seller's 30 day return policy is passed. The reviews stated this has happened to many people. Some get it fixed, only to have it stop working again soon after. So fixing is just a waste of money. Lesson learned. Just because you trust the name brand and the order company, doesn't mean you will get a quality product. You can possibly get an obsolete product and you will be SOL if it stops working. So only buy this product if you have money you don't want. It's basically as useful as nipples on a door.

There was a message appeared when opening the Laptop shows "NO HARD DRIVE INSTALLED"

Quedé satisfecha con mi compra. Es un buen equipo, lo utilizo solo para escribir, trabajo, videos y música. La memoria podría mejorar pero es cierto que es cuestión personal, ya que las actualizaciones pesan un montón y no permite tener muchas aplicaciones. Sin embargo me es funcional.
