Nice beans
Good size, healthy looking beans. Planning to try growing a few but don't know if they will make it. Perfectly edible if they don't

Very good fava beans and my family liked the sauce l made with the beans.
These are very good large fava beans! I soaked them overnight in cold water twice. The next day, l boiled them for 10 minutes then gave them an ice water bath. Thereafter, l squeezed the beans to pop off the skins. Following that, l sautéed garlic and onions in olive and sesame oils. I added the beans after boiling them for 45 minutes and draining them. I added chopped up tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs, salt and pepper. The bean sauce turned out great! My family liked it!

Mix quality
Generally good but each pack has a mix of good beans and old bad beans with hard skin. Some are too hard to cook them and have to be discarded

Taste good, won't cook.
soaked these beans overnight, but they still wouldn't cook. And when the insides did get soft and mushy, the skins were impossible to chew. Ended up going through a food processor, and didn't taste too bad, but what an ordeal. I'll look for the canned next time

Great Beans for Italian Favorites
Goya always has an outstanding product and these Fava beans are no exception. They were a bit hard to get in my area but Amazon to the rescue and I will be making my Fava been recipes with these great and clean beans. I recommend this purchase highly.

Ugh. Didn't pay attention when I bought them. These aren't "shelled", which made for a less than yummy result.
