Very straightforward to use, time will tell if it works ...
I used this on an Active Aqua AACH25 chiller that I use for fermentation temp control in my home brewery. The chiller developed a leak after 2 1/2 years and wouldn't cool. I was about to drop several hundred $ on a new chiller when I found some YouTube videos showing how to add refrigerant to small refrigerators. I used the Supco BPV31D bullet piercing valve to tap into the low pressure side freon line and refill the R134A refrigerant with a can tap and gauge (all purchased on Amazon), but after 4-6 weeks the freon pressure was low again so I was happy to find this product. The female end of the Leak Saver connected directly to the BPV31D, and the hose for the can tap and gauge connected directly to the male side of the Leak Saver UV. With the chiller turned off, I had enough pressure in the system to do a brief purge of the connection between the leak saver and the BPV, and then purged the connection between the can tap / gauge hose and the leak saver with freon from the can. I then pressurized the hose from the can with the BPV closed, closed the valve to the can and opened the valve on the BPV. That's all it took to empty the Leak Saver UV into my chiller's freon line. I powered up the chiller and proceeded to top off the freon to the desired pressure right through the leak saver, let the system run for an hour, closed the valve on the BPV and butttoned everything back up. It's been 2 weeks, the chiller is working great and the compressor is running quieter than ever. I will update this review in a few months to report on whether my slow leak was fixed with the Leak Saver UV.

It didn't work for me, even so: 5 stars?
One of my A/C has a very slow leak: It takes months (3 at least) for the pressure to become noticeably low and, even then, it's just below normal operating range, never "empty". I had already tried to find the leak; I have reattached all the couplings 3 times already. I don't think the problem is there. Due to the extremely slow loss, it seemed a perfect candidate for this solution (as it's indicated for leaks of "more than 7 days to empty"), but unfortunately, it didn't work: The time it usually takes for the unit to show signs of low pressure went by, and it did; it started to show symptoms as if I hadn't used any sealer. I haven't been able to find a UV trace either. Why 5 stars then? This company is truly behind its product, and they made it right for me; so much so that I am giving the product a second chance (this time, if it doesn't work, I won't hold it against them: They already took responsibility for the first instance.) The moral of the story is: I recommend this product even if it didn't work for me. It seems it does work for other people, and the company is true to its word.

Very easy to inject
Very easy to put in. My RV AC would last almost a year before I had to add Freon a very slow leak so I don’t know if it works yet or not, I will come back later to update.

Good product. Good support.
Updated to five stars. I had a batch with bad depressors for the access valves and the product didn’t get into the system. The manufacturer made it right and that’s cool. I’ve used quite a few of these and have had great odds with it.

May have plugged up my A/C
I used it on my 2013 Camry. It went in as the directions indicated but I had cold air before and within minutes I didn't have cold air. I figured I would have to be replacing at least the expansion valve and maybe the copressor but the next morning I had cold air again and have had cold air since. I will have to wait and see if the leak is fixed and I still have cold air in a month. I had a slow leak that required attention after a month or so. I looked for the leak with a sniffer and soap solution but didn't see anything so I thought I would give this a try rather than tear into the dash to get to the evaporator. I hope I didn't make a big mistake. I called the company but didn't really get any help. M

Great for DIY fix
Worked flawlessly to seal the leak in a $1700 dollar wine cooler that was out of warranty. The manufacturer suggested I scrap it and buy a new one. I bought this along with refrigerant, gage and a pipe piercing valve off Amazon. Either YouTube and that setup the cooler runs perfectly!

Easy to use for DIYer
Easy to use for DIY. Wasn't sure whether I had a leak, but decided to use it in case there was, and if not it is in the system in case a leak were to develop, so it can potentially self heal. Good instructions, just needed a piercing valve and to borrow a vacuum pump and manifold gauge set from my son.

Was a good try
Did not work. Tried it on a mini split with a very small leak.

Money is wasted. I own an appliance repair business and tried this several times. They say this product can seal any leak that takes more than seven days to leak all refrigerant. But every time I used this the system lost the refrigerant within two months. Do not recommend.
