Reliability
I used to use the replacement block with small wires and wirenuts and had many call backs. With these ones I don't worry about splicing, using wirenuts or heat gun. Cleaner job and more reliable.

Which one would you buy?
The quality of everything is going down all the time. Those of us that are old enough to say that with confidence can also say without any hesitantation that it's getting worse all the time. Sometimes I look at the product that I purchased and I can't believe the lack of quality. This particular product is a electrical connector that when I went to replace it I noticed that it wasn't that much different from the ones that came with the stove new. In this case I can tell you that not only have new products gotten much cheaper made. No sadly all of the new appliances have been made much cheaper too. I replaced the same part on a stove that was several years older just a short time ago. That part was made several times heavier and the mounting brackets were much heavier as well. I like to think that someone somewhere has thought it all out and it's all OK. It will work. I have had to tell people that I can not change the repair. I have to put back factory original parts when they are still available. Sometimes I'm glad when they are not still available, then I can improvise a little. It's the world we live in .Pick up a part, a toy or anything else you want to purchase and see how many say made in the U.S.A. verse made in China. Good luck with that one. It all comes down to price. I was looking for drip pans that were American made. I found a set of four, for about 150$. I found sets made in China for about 20$. There it is in a nut shell. Which one would you buy?
