Fits my windshield!
I am so glad to have found these on Amazon. I went to my local Home Depot and Lowe's and they didn't have them. As a matter of fact, some of the people in the stores didn't know what they were. So when I looked it up on the instruction manual for the windshield installation, I found that it was called a wellnut. I found the right size, ordered them here, and they fit perfect! Thank you! They seem to be holding up well.

Not functional
Fell apart instantly. Once you start tightening it, the metal screw part detaches from the rubber. Figured it was just a bad one, then it happened 3 more times. Threw the rest out. Would not purchase again.

As described. Used on bmw f650 windshield. works fine but the "washer" part is a bit small for the application.

Waterproofing is questionable
The overall quality is questionable. I ordered a different type before and should've gone with that. The ridge for waterproof seal is so small. So for waterproofing, I don't trust it. The threaded part takes up about 1/2 of the total length; which doesn't leave much for the thickness of the kayak material. Short story. I'm returning it.

Terrible quality
The inset pulls through the rubber before the fastener even begins to tighten. I tried 4 of them before I decided that even if one worked I wouldn’t trust it to hold anything anyways. These were cheap so I thought I’d give them a try and now I understand why they’re so cheap. Absolute junk.

Work great, for about 2 years.
Installed great, have worked great, but dry rot kicked in on year 2. Bike is garage stored, only outside for rides, and they're all dry rotting and cracking now.
