Marius Fabre Marseille Olive Oil Boxed Soap - 2 Pack (400g)

One of the few original savon de Marseille, it is great quality soap. Best stain remover I have ever used. I hand washing or prewash with it and stains go away. I also shred it and it is part of my home made laundry machine soap. It works great.

Honestly this might be one of those you're either all in or don't get it bits. Will you smell like olive oil? Not really and that was the first thing I did hopping out the shower the first time. You gotta take extra time if you're looking to lather up and if you're a fan of big bubbles of lather, this ain't for you. These are giant cubes that will take up most of your soap dish, if not reach over it, and it will last a long time. I like to cycle my soaps and sometimes stop a cube midway just to switch it up because it lasts for a while. The skin does get noticeably softer but I tend to moisturize as well when I'm using this so could be a false positive. Either other I've yet to regret buying a cube of the stuff.

Love this at my kitchen sink. Beats buying watered down liquid in plastic. I drag it back from France whenever I go, because you can get it there in huge cubes.

My wife convinced me to use this for my face. I’ve used it for more than just that. It lasts longer than I could have expected, it works well, and, as a retired guy, I especially notice its subtle effects in the winter. When I first bought it seemed expensive. Now I understand it’s not, given longevity and quality.

1 corner of each soap block arrived chipped. The condition is fine for personal use but for eigher guests or gifting.

I found out about this soap a little over a year ago and now I will not use any other soap. It moisturizes very well, and the main ingredient is olive oil. It leaves your hands soft and smooth even after multiple daily washings. It's not a fragrant soap but the scent is not disagreeable. The bottom line is that IT WORKS!

This soap has lived up to its reputation for me. It has a very thick lather and doesn’t seem to dry my skin at all. These cubes are huge and last a long time. I haven’t used it in the shower I’m using it as hand soap but my guess is it would be nice as a body soap too. I bought the fancy dish that is just the right size and looks great next to the sink. Guests seem to love it too, as I have received many positive comments and questions on where to get it.

Die Seife riecht nach Benzin oder Öl, der Geruch hält sich sogar im Badezimmer in der Luft, ein weiteres unangenehmes Merkmal ist, falls man Schaum in die Augen bekommt es brennt wie verrückt. Ich habe bereits mehrfach andere franz.Olivenölseifen benutzt aber noch nie eine mit solchen Eigenschaften, ich kann mir gar nicht vorstellen, wie bei der Herstellung dieser Geruch entsteht. Habe die Seife weggeworfen.
