Works with LTE Bands: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 25, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41
The LTE6 is compatible with LTE bands: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 25, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41. In the U.S. AT&T uses bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 14, 17 and 30, with bands 2 and 4 being used the most for data. In the U.S. T-Mobile uses bands 2, 4, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71, with bands 2 and 4 being used the most for data. In the U.S. Verizon uses bands 2, 4, 5, 13, 66. Use Cellmapper.net to determine which bands are being used in your area. The LTE6 will allow you to lock on to an LTE band where the SXT LTE won't. This is very useful so you stay locked on to the band that has the best speed. In my area, this is band 2 for AT&T and T-Mobile. I have hundreds of these deployed at customer's homes and they work great once you program them. Set the TTL to 64 and MTU to: 1430 (AT&T), 1420 (T-Mobile), 1428 (Verizon).

Good router board..... but will not buy again
The quality of the mikrotik is without any doubt one of the bestt in the market if you are mikrotik certified installer To some tevkkies this router setup is a snap I needed a 4g router i thought Mikrotik was best option Was not Unfortunately for many they can get by with any router available in the market But mikrotik router require certification and 3 or 4 days of technical internet protocol shop For many not within knowledge Neither am i I have this router now 5 days..with all you tube videos ..none was able to show me how to quick setup this LTE router I went and buy another brand..i could not return the mikrotik router .there was nothing wrong with it just a nightmare to setup The new 4G LTE router was not complicated to setup nothing to it i was up and running in 5 minutes Mikrotik have good product i am most certain of it But configuration is simply a nightmare for many I am not new to mikrotik i have used them before.. Why would a manufature and great company with great product throw their client under the bus for choosing mikrotik beat the heck out of me

Should work out of the box, pro-use only
I’m OK at learning as I go on technology beyond the consumer level. I don’t program or use terminal on my MAC, but can push through most things with a GUI. I need an outdoor router to reach decent cell signal. This modem should be perfect. But, it has to be connected to get that firmware update, you need to download WinBox, and know the APN of your carrier. I found the APN search, supposedly the key to connecting, very difficult and those recommended didn’t work. I found that knowing what fields, in which screen to tweak the APN obtuse. Helpful forum. Good luck.

Failed after the first rain
Not for outdoor use. Case has holes in it. Water damage caused it to fail after the first use in rain. Otherwise would have been a great product.

Pretty impressive
So far, I've been pretty impressed. I have a collection of masts in line of sight around 1mi away, so I mounted this at a corner of my roof aimed at the tower. I powered it via a small PoE switch that I bought, and installed an EE SIM in it. Unlike a lot of folks here, the SIM worked right away with no issues. I tried a variety of broadband speed checkers and I think the minimum download speed I got was around 45 Mb/s, and a few times it was as high as 95 Mb/s. Uploads topped out around 45 Mb/s, but more normally in the high 20s to mid 30s. I have yet to integrate it into my existing network to replace the copper to the house, and I think that this may be where some of the complaints regarding the interface may come into play. The quick interface is fine, but I have to disable some services like DHCP as I don't want this device being in charge of those functions. Some small annoyances: The access door is a pretty tight fit bigger hands. The slot for the cable is geared toward their PoE injector, which is kind of a weird cable since you don't really want it near the router (how to weather proof?), but perhaps it would have worked if it was placed near the switch/PC end of things. But I ran an outdoor CAT6 cable into it and not only is the cable notch a bit tight but it was really tough to get the right angle to plug the cable into the first Ethernet socket (this is the PoE in socket). I see absolutely no way to make use of the second PoE out socket without either using a much narrower cable or else leaving the access door off. The band clamp is really more meant to be used on a pole that's 2 or 3 inches in diameter it seems to me, but I'm a bit worried about the J-bar pole that I used on my house as they are a good bit narrower. The clamp holds it pretty well, and it's quite tight, but I'm worried that the router might be spun a bit in some of the big winds that we get here in the winter. It would have been nice to include a rubber strip that could be applied between the band clamp and mounting post to keep such things from happening. I didn't have one when I installed it, and I'm concerned that I'll need to get back up there if the wind has its way. But I'm sure the position is a big reason why I'm getting the kind of speeds I'm seeing. I was worried about some of the issues that other reviewers raised, but I guess I got pretty lucky in that it seems to be running quite well without a lot of fuss. Next, we'll see if there are any issues with connections lost/remade. But right now it's working a treat.

Consigliatissimo, direi come tutti i prodotti Mikrotik.
