Thought about going for the next step up in the range of unilites, but to be honest this is more than adequate for what I need it for, and probably more versatile. The 625R is about the right size for any inspection related tasks or any work in poorly lit spaces. It does get warm after prolonged use but I guess that’s to be expected, it feels very robust and seems to be built to a high standard.The light fits nicely in pocket or tool bag which I like, and the magnets are strong and easily support the torch. It has 3 different light outputs on the front, and 1 on the top, it also has a UV light all of which can be cycled through by clicking the button on the front..Haven’t had this torch long but so far I can’t fault it..

This is a great the LED light is bright it fits in hand and pocket great for repairs and installation of gas meters and electric meters and boilers recommend for any maintenance work you need light I have had many lights all good but this little light blows them out water 💦 fantastic addition to the tool bag

This thing aint your cheap plastic rubbish hence the hefty price tag.I am a service engineer, use this every day. It has been knocked, dropped a good few times in the short time I have had it and continues working as it should.Good lighting effect, infact if you turn the thing on while looking at the led don't expect to see too well for a few seconds, it is bright.I have this sat in one of my cargo pockets, if I forget to turn the thing off, my leg soon knows about it.It has a battery charge indicator on it and also if the battery is low it blinks 3 times when you first switch it on as an additional indicator.Magnet is good and strong, its now my first point to look for the screw that i thought i had dropped.So all round, if your a DIY guy then its probably not cost effective to buy it but for anyone that needs a reliable rechargeable lighting in your pocket, then yes I would recommend it.

I loved this torch and when I lost my original I didn’t hesitate to buy another, unfortunately the new one has an issue especially if being used as an inspection light like I do for my job, the magnets are nowhere near as strong and don’t have the power to hold them selves up like they used to, disappointing for an expensive torch

Had many different unilite products nearly all been good only the early 500 model failed quickly all others last well battery life lasts weeks even with daily use as mobile mechanic

This shows up the side of a car rasily for checking paint detail. Blinding main light has two other ways of light. Just what was wanted to see in difficult places easily.

Very bright and has a battery charge level which is useful.

After using it for 4 month I dropped a few times to the carpet floor and the battery got loose. So if I shake it it bounces inside. And switch resin cover got torn. My previous model for 500 lumen was a little better quality then this one.
