When I first set the cooler up I just tried fan only set it to the highest fan setting for about 30 minutes. I was very impressed with that infact I was amazed. Then I put the ice packs in ice and two bottles of frozen water let it sit for about 15 minutes and had it filled to maximum and set it running I am very impressed with it. Good value for money too.Now the downside:Noisy but it didn't stop me from sleeping and it has never woken me up so can't be too bad. To empty mine I take it to my back door and pull the plug ( I do live in a bungalow minds ) give it a good wipe out clean the grill and it is set to go again. Referring to the smell all I have smelt is new plastic and it is getting less so no smell problem to me.All in all very happy 😊 😃

It's brilliant does what it says it does the functions the great but it is quite noisy my little one goes to sleep with it but sometimes when she must be in light sleep it wakes her up just as well we haven't had a great summer as haven't really used itOne of the most annoying things is the water is at the bottom and when you are emptying the residue of water you have to take the whole thing into the bathroom and tip it upside down it's a shame they didn't make it where the top half could separate from the bottom half

a have a large portable air con but its too heavy for me to carry upstairs and needs to be vented to the outside, so this unit was a very welcomed new addition for the bedroom. dont let its size and price fool you, it cools as well as the one we bought 9yrs ago at £800. fab value for money

Products does not work any better than a fan, you are also forced to pay for postage if you need to return the item

Obviously this is not as good as a really expensive air conditioning unit but for this price it is bliss. The key to this is the water, if I add ice and the packs the air is really cold which is great right now. I'm very happy with this purchase

We purchased the Nyxi 15L Air Cooler Fan last summer, hoping it would help us through the hot months. Unfortunately, it performed no better than a standard fan, offering little to no cooling effect. It was a huge disappointment as we expected more from an air cooler of this capacity.The worst part? We returned the item, but the manufacturer never processed our refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, we are still chasing our money. Amazon also failed to help us resolve the issue. This whole experience has been frustrating and unprofessional.I strongly advise against purchasing this product. Be very careful – it's not worth the hassle or money. Not recommended at all!

U will update the review at a later date as this was only delivered literally 10 minutes ago and my 1st impressions are "Really Good"It was delivered I unboxed it all, read the instructions, filled with water, crushed ice and ice cubes 🧊 I turned it on and I'm getting cold air on my legs straight away. I will return when used for a day or so, including throughout the night tonight and update the review (if I remember) haha 1st impressions, go and buy one asap 👍👍👍***UPDATE***This is not an air con machine, so will not get and keep the room cold. What it does do is cool the room down (our bedroom) emough so we can gat a comfortable good night's sleep, which is exactly what it was purchased for ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 from 5 stars from me 👌 well worth the money, if needed I would not hesitate to buy another one. It's a very good air cooler, works very well. Not sure what else positive to say other than thatOnly real downside is the noise, you stated it's "low noise" it REALLY is NOT low noise..it's loud as heck
