It's not immediately comfortable, but I couldn't imagine sitting in anything else
Been using for several months now. I initially sat down and thought I made a huge mistake, it's not like sitting on a comfy chair. I knew the return window would allow to to send back figured I'd sit in it for a few days. I'm 6'1 170lbs, WFH, roughly 9-10 hours a day spent in the chair. Initial impression was that my lower back didn't like the lumbar support at all, took it out (30 seconds total to remove) and noticed relief right away but it still didn't feel great after the first day, my entire body actually hurt. I was researching how to send it back from the couch that evening. Played with the settings and after the second day I still didn't like it at all. The third or 4th day I noticed my posture had started to improve due to the arm rests adjustability giving you many different seating options. I'd never used a recline function in any chair so I immediately shut it off. Decided to try it out and couldn't believe how great the ability to sit upright firm with stability so it doesn't fall back, then slightly recline if needed, I now use it all day without thinking about it. By the end of the first week I started breaking the box it came in down because there was no way I could ever see myself sitting in any other chair.I'm amazed at what this has done for my overall comfort even life outside of the chair. This was easily the best purchase I can recall making. I just wish I had done it sooner. The build quality is what you would expect when you're paying a lot. There's not a ton of padding (seems to be most higher end chairs), but it's an incredibly comfortable chair once you get used to it. I expect this chair to last a very long time, however, if I ever get wind they're discontinuing this chair or redesigning it, I'll be buying a backup V2 for sure.

Take the Leap!
The Good: This is a very comfortable and ergonomic chair that has made my work from home experience much better! The entire chair feels like quality, and it looks classy. It also comes fully assembled, which is amazing. Lastly, it's VERY customizable. You can move the height, lumbar support, customize upper or lower back stiffness, and more. The Bad: The only bad I found which is honestly minimal, is the arm rests are so customizable that sometimes they move when you don't want them to. That being said, they barely move. It hasn't bothered me yet.The Bottom Line: I'm not going to act like it's not expensive, it is. That being the case, you get what you pay for here. If you just use your desk for an internet search once in a while, you don't need this chair. Go to Costco and get a $300 chair. If, however, you work at home from your desk all day like I do, it's SO worth it.

Poor quality and creaks galore
The chair itself is fine, but apart incredibly cheap feeling fabric for a chair of this price, it creaks and groans relentlessly despite being putatively brand-new and not refurbished. This certainly does not feel like a $1,300 chair––the value is not there for the money. The good news is, apart from it being delivered fully assembled, and providing good back support, it is free and easy to return.

Absolutely fantastic
As a petite woman, "standard" chairs are not made to fit me. I'm 5'3", and the average chair doesn't go low enough for my feet to hit the ground, the seat is always too long for my knees to clear the end of the chair, etc. I went on a mission to find an ergonomic chair for myself, and this one seemed like a clear choice. I'm so glad I purchased it! I am able to adjust the chair to a very comfortable and ergonomic position for myself. I also suffer from chronic coccyx pain due to an automobile accident a few years ago, and this chair does not cause me any discomfort in that area. (I was worried about this, since some reviews said that the chair caused coccyx pain. This is totally not the case for me.) The chair has wonderful lumbar support (I like it firm, but it can be adjusted to be softer) and I enjoy that I can lean back in the chair as well while still having my back supported. I find the cushioning in this chair to be plenty soft (some reviews say that it is too firm). It isn't like sitting on a pillow or anything, but it also isn't hard and it doesn't cause me any discomfort. Though I am petite, this chair is so adjustable that I am confident it would be a great fit for basically any person. If you're thinking about making an investment in your health and ergonomics, I would not hesitate to purchase this Leap V2 chair!

Good for back and posture
Received no instruction manual, and chair does not go up and down. I will as able to manually adjust to proper height with a screw driver, but that is less than ideal. Good for the back though
