Great for Grinding seeds. Perfect for my needs.
I waited a few weeks before leaving this review. as I wanted to make sure it was a reliable product before adding my name to it. I have been using the SHARDOR Coffee & Spice Grinder to grind seeds (Linseed/Flax, Pumpkin and Sunflower) to add to my morning Porridge or lunchtime Greek Yogurt and fruit. Work perfectly, only takes a few seconds, I give it a tap, to knock down the powder and then a few more seconds. Easy to clean. You can pay a lot more for these things. But if you are in the market for a good seed grinder. This will suit most people. PS I bought this after buying a cheap hand grinder that was absolutely useless for the task. As I said before, this does the job in seconds.

Wake up and smell the coffee
I like to wake up every day to a freshly ground cup of coffee and to do that a good coffee grinder is essential. My last grinder was good but did have a few minor problems. It was tricky to screw on the lid and ground beans stuck to the inside of the grinder due to a plastic rim that especially seemed to attract some brands of coffee, this meant that it couldn’t be fully emptied which did tend to create a mess when cleaning it. Having a mains cord didn’t help when I wanted to brush it clean over the sink. My new Shardor grinder is a massive improvement. The grinding bowl is easy to insert and its stainless steel construction means that the ground beans tip out very easily without sticking to plastic on the inside of the bowl. It’s good that the bowl can be lifted out of the grinder base for ease if use, this makes the process quick, clean and simple, it also avoids the problem of an attached mains cord. To aid in cleaning, the bowl can be swilled under the tap if required. I like the design, it’s slim, quiet, unobtrusive and simple to use. It grinds beans without waking the rest of the family in the morning. There is a second bowl included that will be useful for those occasional small chopping tasks that require a simple solution. The machine has a two year guarantee included when registered. At last have found the coffee grinder that I have been looking for. Why struggle with a grinder? Now with the Shardor you can truly ‘ Wake up and smell the coffee’ !

Excellent Grinder. Plug Not Great If Sockets Close to Splashback But Can be Overcome. Worth Doing.
Really quick and super-efficient compared to the antiquated braun with grinding attachment I've been using. To be fair that was ancient. This grinder is super-fast; literally taking about 10 seconds or so to pulverise flaxseeds, which need just-before-use grinding to release the oils in case you didn't know. I tried the veg/wet grinder i.e. the cup with four blades to grind up carrots, garlic, celery and onion and that works well too, although you do have to do that in a few batches given in its small capacity. However, it's so easy to remove and clean and very, very fast, which makes breaking out the larger food processor and unnecessary inconvenience. Oh, and it doesn't make much noise compared to the old, ancient Braun. I've removed a star because the plug is one of those small flat triangular ones with a neck-brace which I cannot plug in just above the splashback, i.e. where the socket is. Normal square-shaped three pins aren't a problem. At some point I'll remove it and replace the plug. You could also use an adaptor if you can't plug it elsewhere in the room where the sockets aren't close to the splashback.

Very easy to use
Very easy to use, easy to clean, grind well for all the spices and the nuts, value for the money, looks nice and elegant, the containers is big enough so i am very happy with it. I didn't try it for wet ingredients but soon I will. Highly recommended

Not impressed. Don't buy for wet ingredients.
I wanted to love this grinder based on the good reviews, but at the moment I'm questioning myself why I didn't send it back. I still have my simple Braun coffee grinder to compare this one to. Only reason I bought this one was cause I hate to clean out spices from Braun so my coffee wouldn't taste weird, that was not easiest of jobs since Braun is not washable. So I decided to buy this one for coffee, and ginger/garlic and leave Braun for spices. First impressions? It's very loud compared to my old one. As a result you cannot tell by sound of coffee is it done or not, Braun is quieter and you can actually tell by sound of coffee is it done. After recommended 30sec. grinding coffee was not as fine as in my old Braun. I'm using Aeropress coffee maker that recommends using fine espresso coffee. To get that you need at least 2x30sec. I have added video to show the sound of machine and result of ground coffee (medium level) after 30sec. grinding. Why I chose exactly this grinder? Cause I often blend garlic and ginger for curries and this was suppose to be able to grind small amounts of wet ingredients. I'm left disappointed. You can see picture of ginger+garlic before grinding, it's on middle level. Next pic is result after 30sec. Honestly shockingly bad. Whole pieces of garlic all over. Added 2 tbsp. of water, tried another 30sec. Got result in next 2 pics. Lid full of paste and still lumps of garlic if you can see on the spoon. Added another tbsp. of water, finally it was paste, but as you can see in last picture silicone seal fails during grinding and let's liquid seep out. (unfortunately I think amazon is adding pics not in the order I add them) According to seller I'm not suppose to add any water cause seals are not waterproof. Seriously? So how are you suppose to make any pastes in it? It's meant to be for wet ingredients. Since bought it in April, haven't used it for wet ingredients anymore, useless. Use it only for coffee. But only for that I could have bought cheaper and better grinder. If it was 20£ I would maybe understand the performance, but for the original price I'm very disappointed. Inadequate performance.

Removable bowl, dishwasher safe,
Ok, I'm pleased with this, I did think about sending it back becuase of a couple of things, but I think I'll keep it. I only use this for spices, as a mini-blender, not for coffee. The no 1 great thing about this grinder is the bowl comes out and you can put it in the dishwasher or quicly rinse under a tap. This is a game-changer. It takes seconds to undo. My only wish is that you could buy a second bowl, which would make my life simpler. The other brilliant thing is that you just press the lid down and grind, which means you can do it one-handed - again brilliant when I"m in the middle of cooking. The cons with this are the imperfect size grind. I found balls of garlic or ginger rolling around the splattered sides. However, you need to pulse these, not press down for ages. If I do that, it's fine. I use it with liquids, all the time, and it's water tight and make a brilliant wet spice mix. All round great value for money. The lid has slightly come apart (cosmetic) that black bit on the top and front came off, doesn't affect use at all. It's prob just the glue melting from the dishwasher. I prefer it without tbh, because there was a slight gap where wet could get in, which I never think is clean. (i took the pics when it was newer). So, yes, If you cook a lot of asian food, then this is your man.
