Q: Will this work with Canon 1dx mk3?

Not sure it works on my. Canon digital SRN I think it's just a standard release button. Sorry I can't be more helpful

Q: Will this work on a Sony ZV-E1 that has a USB C port ?

It should work fine, the remote is a very simple piece of kit. There are two potential drawbacks though. First, if you’re going to use the hot shoe to mount the remote receiver, the hot shoe is not central on the camera body, it’s at the same end where the screen is hinged, and I wonder whether the receiver would get in the way of the screen if you are trying to rotate the screen to certain angles. The receiver is quite large. By the way the hot shoe doesn’t perform any function with the receiver, it’s just a place to sit; you could leave the receiver dangling. The second potential issue is, the USB-C connector sits behind a little hinged door and I don’t know how robust that hinge is, especially if you’re opening and closing it frequently. And it only seems to open to 90 degrees, so you’d need to be careful that the cable doesn’t foul the door and pull it past its tolerance. I’m amazed Sony didn’t build in remote operation to this camera when you consider it’s aimed at vloggers. The remote will work, but there must be more elegant (more expensive, though) solutions out there. On the upside, I’ve found the remote robust, dependable and simple, with great battery life. On the downside, the remote’s features are really limited to shutter operation and a timer delay. You can’t focus, zoom, or start video (at least, I haven’t found how to do that latter one yet.)

Q: Does this work with an OM-1?

I bought mine for use on a Nikon Z6. I bought it to replicate an 80 people group shot taken 18 years ago. It works perfectly on my Z6. I can't comment on other camera bodies.
