MarriottDown Alternative Duvet Insert - Hotel Bed Comforter with Sewn-Through Box Design - King

I have actually stayed at Marriott hotels in Canada and other parts of the US where they provide these comforters. And they’re just wonderful, light, airy but very warm.

So far I love my new comforter. It's cool and heavy and very comfortable. I've been sleeping very well since I received it. It's gotten hard to get out of bed but I do go to bed early now.

I ordered this product with the expectation which I was going to be really happy & sleep with great comfort & similar to when I've stayed in a Marriot Hotel, off course the feeling is a bit similar but the quality is not the same. There are plenty other brands which you can pick at better prices, the quality they give through this seller is extremely bad so if you do not want to waste your money I strongly recommend to get something else. This one I didn't even wash it a single time & you can see in the picture how bad the quality is, have in mind this was just 1 month & 15 days after I got it, honestly DO NOT GET THIS. I tried to go through the return process & they just rejected saying it was out of the return window which is not acceptable at all, $200 for a Marriot Duvet with just 1 month of warranty? That's not something Marriot should do at all.

At a recent stay at a Courtyard by Marriott I checked all edges of the comforter on the bed looking for a tag. I said, I'm getting one of these. I was really surprised to find them on Amazon! I bought the king size for my queen bed. It's super lightweight and does not sleep hot. Hope it fits in my washer!

I travel for business and several times had been interested in purchasing hotel room bedding, which always seems better than what's at home. I always stopped short of doing so on Amazon because I would be deterred by reviews saying that the product was not the same as the hotel bedding after all. Confused by why the discrepancy I just stayed away. I went back and forth and finally went ahead with a purchase.So, big reveal: is this authentic Marriott bedding or not? In my opinion, No, it is not. It is good quality and comfortable and a good purchase, but feels different than hotel bedding. For one thing, it's not as lightweight, and for another the tags on the bedding are from a different company than what I saw on Marriott bedding tags.In summary, I give this product 4 stars because it's comfortable, but I am disappointed that it does not feel like the same product. Too bad, because if it were I'd go ahead and buy more items like pillows, but I'd only do so if they were the same.Hope this helps address the controversy in reviews of whether the product is comparable to hotels.

After a trip to the UK I wanted to find a soft, cuddly duvet. Marriott’s is perfect, although a little too warm if you keep your house temperature higher at night. This duvet is thick and fluffy and oh, so cuddly, I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning.

A real game changer! I had been purchasing the lower price, Amazon basic/equivalent duvet inserts and they were fine - never lasted long. This new duvet is far superior! Lightweight, yet warm. Stays in-place in duvet cover even through constant tossing & turning.
