It doesn’t really fit. But it did work even though you could hear it rattle. But it stopped working within 2 months. Can’t return it either.

Poor battery life
I use the name brand Welch Allen batteries for years. They are equipped to charge and hold a charge for a long time and last about 5 or 6 years. I treated these generic batteries the same as I have the name brand ones and had to do much more frequent charging and even after a year full charge would only last maybe 10 minutes. I had 2 of these generic batteries so was not just a "one off". If you just need a battery for the year this would be a good $13 option but for the long-term unfortunately I have to go back to the name brand for over $50. Very often when I went to use my ophthalmoscope with the generic batteries it would be dead and was very inconvenient.

I would give a ZERO if I could
I purchased a few years ago, it did not keep a charge and failed in short order. My original battery that came with my Otoscope lasted all through school and years into practice. I tried calling the number on the battery for replacement, automated answer trying to sell me a alert monitor. DO NOT GET THIS BATTERY!
