Wow! A craving-killer!
I added this to my vitamin stack to help with cravings that might lead me to drink beer after work in the afternoon. After a couple of weeks I find that I'm not craving food like I used to. I used to start thinking about dinner by about 9 oclock in the morning. Now I feel content without always thinking about my next meal. It really started working fast.

Great supplement for PCOS.
I was recommended to take Inositol by a friend. We both have PCOS and she swore by it for help controlling PCOS symptoms. I did a little bit of my own research and decided it was worth a shot. I take 4g a day (which is the recommended dosage for women with PCOS) which is 4 pills and I take it at the same time each day (more or less so I don't forget but I did read that consistency in taking it at the same time each day does help inositol to work correctly). The pills are rather large but go down easily and have no taste or after taste. I had some minor stomach discomfort the first few days but after a week it diminished. I've only been taking it for the past 9 days but I noticed a difference the first day. Around 30 minutes after my first dose, I felt calm and relaxed which is a rare thing since I have severe anxiety. The fact I noticed a change from day one made me feel like I made a great choice in trying inositol. By day three I noticed I was sleeping better. I'm a chronic insomniac and 4 out of 7 nights a week, I need to take something to help me sleep. For the past 6 days I have been able fall asleep naturally. Day 8 I noticed how different my moods had been. My husband even noticed and commented about how my moods had been more pleasant and consistent. I have seen a difference in my skin, my mild acne is clearing up and my skin looks healthier. I'm most impressed that in 9 days my anxiety has gone down dramatically, my moods are more stable and I'm sleeping naturally. Those 3 changes will keep me taking inositol even if it doesn't help control my PCOS. I need to continue taking it longer to determine if it helps with all of my PCOS symptoms (I need time to see if it helps regulate my cycles, aids in ovulation or aids in weight loss. I also will need to speak to my doctor to see if it helped with hormones and insulin levels). I will later update my review to reflect those findings. But for now Inositol gets 4 stars! Although it's been less than 2 weeks, I'm seeing significant changes from taking Inositol and I am very pleased.

A supplement to keep on hand
This supplement has been a great help for me. It’s helped my mood, stress and boost my energy levels. I popped them in half to make them easier for me to swallow them. I just reordered. Great price on Amazon!!

I'm using this supplement twice a day to try and reduce negative symptoms coming off the combined pill after a decade. I have been taking this for about a week now after stopping the pill 2 weeks ago. My energy levels are really good, I'm falling asleep quickly, and my skin is clear so far. I expect negative symptoms to peak between 4 and 6 months, so I will update this review as I reach certain milestones. Edit 1: I've been taking this for 2 months now. My energy levels and sleep are still good. My skin had a little breakout 1 month in, but has settled to just 1 spot on my chin. I do believe my skin would be doing much worse without this supplement. I'll update again at the 4 month mark. Edit 2: I'm 3 and a half months in now, a little early, but I am ordering another bottle so I thought I'd update again. Since the last update, my menstrual cycle has come back! The time between cycles is a little on the long side, 35 to 40 days, but that seems to be reducing. My skin has been okay, some acne popping up in the week before and week of my period but nothing horrific. My energy levels and mood have been up and down, but they seem consistent with what you would expect in a monthly hormone normal cycle. I keep track of this stuff using the Stardust app so I can understand it all a bit more. I'll update again when at 5-6 months, but I certainly won't be going off this any time soon!

I have very bad PCOS, i have been spotting continuously for 6 months now and my testosterone was through the roof and iron level very low because of spotting for so long. My GP said the only way to stop the spotting and help my pcos is to go through birth control or take some hormone supplements. I have been taking inositol for 45 days now and this is what happened: after 2 weeks, i got my first proper heavy period in 6 months. VERY heavy, as if everything that didn't came out in the last 6 months, it came out now. This lasted 5 days, after 5 days it became lighter, and after 5 more days it stopped, and no spotting anymore! For the first time in 6 months, i'm not spotting, i feel more energised and started taking iron supplements too. I redid my blood tests, and the estrogen and testosterone levels are much much more balanced and the iron level is now within the healthy range. I will continue taking it but try to reduce it over time to help my body not rely on this completely. Someone said to take it 3 months and then take a break.
