Great value, nice quality, innovative design
I bought this set of knives on offer, representing fantastic value, even at full price they're worth everypenny. Viners is a trusted brand and the innovative design with rounded-off tips instead of sharp points works really well, feels much safer. The sharpness of them has really upped my cooking game, making slicing and chopping smooth and accurate. The indentations on two of the knives helps stop food sticking to the knife when chopping. They're a nice weight and feel comfortable to hold even with arthritic hands. I'm quite precious with these knives, carefully washing the blades and cleaning the handles without submerging them, quickly drying them up and placing back in the knife block. Also, don't use them on ceramic or glass surfaces, use a plastic or wooden chopping board to extend the duration of the sharpness. Iโve had these about 3 months now and they have proved to be my favourite kitchen knives demonstrating their durability even with daily use. Highly recommended.

Sharp knives , feel safer with the blunt ends.
These are fantastic , blunt ends so you can't poke, cut your self like a normal knife, so good with young adults , teens, even adults, very sharp even after several weeks of use. Only issue with be when cutting something like a tomato , as when I cut tomatoes I tend to poke them with the pointy end of a knife to get a small cut then I slice with the rest of the knife, that way I don't squish the tomato.

more than great.
excellent value at ยฃ10 for 4. better still is performance. Sharper than knifes costing multiples more, & more comfortable. Family openly commenting on safer design , ease of use & easy to clean too. ONLY wash by hand to maintain sharp edge.

Blade for every use
Whatโs not to like? A four piece Vinerโs knife set for under a tenner is a total bargain. Viners is a British brand, although I suspect these were made in the far east. However, the packaging and quality is consistent with the Viner brand. They look a bit weird with squared off ends, it it makes sense; much safer particularly for those of us suffering with arthritis and grip difficulty. If the knife slips, itโs unlikely to cause serious damage without the point. All are sharp. No blade protectors, but not expected at this price point. Best part; substantial comfortable handles which provide great grip. Again, u likely to slip even when used with wet hands. Easy to wash in warm soapy water, but also dishwasher safe. The four different sized blades mean theyโre ideal for use for anything from peeling fruit or veg to slicing meat or root veg. Iโm impressed by this set and happy to recommend.

Vines knives
Knives are very sharp and good to use. However the info that they are not dishwasher safe is not obvious on the description or on the packaging

Excellent Knives Excellent value for money
Brilliant knives. Lightweight yet durable. Love the sleek black look. The cut really well. The rounded tips are a clever design aspect to prevent injury. They glide through food and have a good grip handle. Knives are not dishwasher proof, so ignore other reviews stating the coating peeled. Come with a 10 year guarantee, excellent value for money.

Handles come off after just few months of use
When received the knives I was impressed by the good sharpness of them. However, after less than a month or two of use one lost the handle while cutting vegetables and another one followed few months later. Iโve now had the knives for good 8 months and the two left developed weird bubbles on handles. I followed all the maintenance instructions and this are the only utilities I do not put in our dishwasher. a bit disappointing as it could be better but again for the price you pay cannot expect premium quality.

Great product
Like the idea of the safety feature in these knifes with omitting the sharp points and changing them to round points. Wish the full set of Viners knifes was available too.

Fine for home cooking
The killer feature of this set is that the tips are not pointy, so it's a bit safer with kids in the house. They are also relatively comfortable to grip compared to other knives I've handled. The knives get dull pretty fast though, so get your stone ready. All in all, I would say this is a fine set for the average home cook.
