I personally knew Becky and her sweet husband Charles. Charles was a great leader and mentor at ourlittle church. When we got the news that he was in Atlanta fighting for his life, we could hardly believe it ashe was is such great health. When Charles died, something of Becky did also, She began writing herfeelings down day by day and a year or so later, brought a 3 ring binder to our little bookclub. We all readher words and thoughts, and knew immediately she needed to share it with the world. It brought me totears, then the next page to laughter. It was easy to imagine Charlie talking to God and like a great Father, giving him advice to move on. I have always had a testimony of life after death, but this little book brought itto a view what I could see clearly understand the process of letting our earthly struggles move us in a directionof our real growth that awaits us in the next life. Thank you Becky for sharing this personal and emotionaljourney that we all may experience in our own lives. Becky is now a strong and valuable force in all the livesthat she touches.

If there is someone you love, one of you will have to face this ...
My late wife and I went to church with Becky and Charles. The day Becky sent me the announcement of her book, I ordered one from Amazon. It did not reach me in time to take to her first signing here in Nashville. My son and I went to the book store that night and when he went to the counter to buy me one to have signed, they had sold out. There was a mob!You MUST read this book. My Amazon copy arrived the next day and I took it back to my wife's sewing/reading room and read it cover to cover in one sitting. I wouldn't have missed it!If there is someone you love, one of you will have to face this loss one day. I have lived thru seven kidney stones but I didn't know the meaning of pain until the day I buried my wife. Please buy and read this great book. If you are anything like me, you will weep all the way through this touching story about Charles "Coop" and God and their many discussions.Love to you all, Dave

Once in a great long while a book comes out that grabs you ...
Once in a great long while a book comes out that grabs you by the collar and won't let go even after you've turned the last electric page. Death and Taxes. A hint: this book has nothing to do with money. Hey, God? Yes Charles is about the BIG ONE, the final and most powerful aspect of life we just don't want to think about. Hey God? presents you with life's most demanding reality on every page. And through the shock of it, the gut-wrenching tears (Yes, you will cry.), the denial, bargaining, and then the final acceptance, you will follow a true-life journey you will never forget. Becky Cooper made that journey, and she takes you along in a narrative that just won't let go. Ever. Give this book to your loved ones. And when you next see them to discuss it you will look into each others eyes with a whole new love, an entirely new understanding of how precious every waking moment really is, and how vital it is to love with abundance. Give this book to those you love.

Unique and amazing conversation with GOD
When I first saw this book I wondered "will it be uplifting or will it be sad?"As I began reading the 'short' pages I found it was both and more! This writer, who suddenly and unexpectedly lost her husband kept notes of her feelingsand her private 'talks' with him as a way to cope. The notes showed her sadness, herstruggles alone, plus their good memories. And she begins to imagine the conversationsthat her husband must be having with GOD about her. Hence the title of the book"Hey, God? Yes, Charles."It is an amazing book and one I think would be interesting to just about everyone.I would recommend it especially to anyone who might have lost a love one. It's unique and shows that while life must go on true love also lives on--

Wonderful Story
I read Becky's book on my kindle when it it first came out. I was overwhelmed with emotions. So much so that I could not come up with words to describe my feelings let alone write a review. I cried, I laughed, and I did a lot of thinking. These emotions made me think of Jimmy Valvano's ESPY speech, which I just watched on You Tube. Jimmy V said if you laugh, if you think, and your emotions bring you to cry; if you experience all of those emotions you have had a full day. I had a full day as I experienced all of these emotions reading Becky's notes of the conversations she heard between Charles and God.

is a great book about loss and love
Hey, God? Yes, Charles, is a great book about loss and love. Becky Cooper is a friend of mine that wrote this about the loss of her husband. The book is the reflection of death through conversations her husband has with God after his death.
