Works as expected
Got this because my new Realtek audio software does not allow the mapping of inputs anymore. This solved the problem and was a much easier setup.

It works!...backwards
I purchased this adapter for using an external 2-channel USB sound card on a 5.1 speaker system to utilize all 6 speakers. While it does it great job of splitting the sound into 3 outputs, the left and right audio is backwards. Left is right and right is left. The left and rights weren't an issue before using this adapter. It was a simple fix of swapping the output cables around on the sound card, but the fact it needed to be done should be pointed out.

The splitter cables were just what I needed to hook up my 5.1 stereo speakers to my PC. They are awesome and do the job as described.

Works as Expected
Splits the signal as expected with multiple different sets of earphones I have tested. Sound is decent. We primarily use a splitter to split audio while watching movies on a tablet, so the audio quality demands are fairly basic.

Broke sound card !!!
Terrible couldn't get to work, then realized tip broke off in my Sound Card. Now sound card doesn't work cant get it out and have to buy an external sound card now !!!!
