Magnetic Door Stops

I installed these KOLAKO magnetic door stoppers in areas where doors were constantly being pushed closed by airflow, pets, or robot vacuum movement, and they’ve worked extremely well. The magnetic hold is strong enough to keep doors positioned securely while still allowing easy release when needed. They’ve been especially useful for keeping interior doors open during robot vacuum cleaning cycles and preventing dogs from nudging doors shut accidentally. The no-drill mounting approach made installation quick and simple, and the stainless steel finish gives them a cleaner, more modern appearance than traditional rubber wedge stops. Once installed, the magnets align well and hold consistently without rattling or shifting around. This is the very best magnetic door stop ever & I'm using on all my doors. I bought them in white which blends in with my white doors & baseboards. Much classier & no fussing around like with those rubber wedges. I like having windows open on nice days, but if windy upstairs doors would slam shut before. This door stop is especially handy for keeping my auto-closing door into the garage open when I'm unloading groceries, etc. Thanks for a great product!

I bought these for two purposes: to hold open the door and to jeep the door knob from impacting the wall. It solved both problems. We have a robot mopping machine that likes to close doors and get itself trapped in the room. This magnetic door stopper worked very well to keep the door open. The magnet is strong enough to hold the door open even in the strongest of breezes. I really like the look of it and it wasn’t terribly difficult to install. My only gripe with this is how loud it is when the magnet connects to the metal piece on the door. I have solid doors and it is so loud, you don’t want to accidentally open the door too much to engage the magnet for fear it will wake up someone, or the dog, whose barking will wake up someone. I might try reversing the install and placing the long stem on the door and the metal catch on the baseboard to see if that makes it quieter. It’s probably how it was supposed to be installed anyway. The instructions weren’t specific so it can go either way.

Bought these for a door that kept closing slowly on its own. These worked out perfectly! Sometimes it’s a little more difficult to get the door unstuck from the magnet, and is a little loud when it sticks, but it’s magnet so I assumed it wouldn’t be super quiet. Definitely would buy again. The installation was easy
