I love the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. I like to ability to read and study the book in the original format.

My wife bought this as a Christmas gift for me this year. It’s interesting to see the text in paragraph form without verse numbers. I’m excited to read from it. So far, it looks well made and durable. Highly recommended.

This isn’t the greatest Book of Mormon replica I’ve seen. It doesn’t have a real leather cover and the paper quality is a little lower than with some other editions I’ve seen. That being said, it is very nicely done, the cover looks and feels great and the book thickness is spot on. I bought three of these, one for each of my kids for Christmas, so they can have an idea of what it was like when their ancestors read this book for the first time.On a purely religious note, some may say that the typos and changes that are apparent when comparing this edition to the most recent one put out by the church casts doubt on its authenticity. However, I do not find this to be the case. As the prophet Mormon (the original compiler and editor) specifically says in the work, if there are errors (and he pretty well said there would be) they are the errors of men and not of God. He also warns not to disparage things of God because He uses imperfect instruments (i.e. men) to bring about his purposes. It just goes as further proof to my mind that despite man’s imperfections, God is able to bring about his holy works.I find the typos and changes to be endearing.

It looks identical to an original except the originals typically have darker covers and pages. This is probably looks like the originals in 1830. Also, the printing in this one seemed a lighter than the original that I compared it to.It is interesting to see where the original chapters breaks occurred. Most important is the content - it is truly amazing
