I recently purchased this webcam after looking for an affordable yet high-quality option for both professional and personal use, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The camera captures a crisp and clear image, and the fact that it maintains sharp focus between 19.6 inches to 13 feet makes it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m sitting right at my desk or presenting on a whiteboard from several feet away, everything stays in focus without any manual adjustments. This fixed focal length is surprisingly reliable and well-optimized for indoor settings like home offices, conference rooms, or classrooms.One standout feature is the wide 110° angle of view. It’s ideal for presentations, interviews, and collaborative sessions where more of the background or multiple people need to be in frame. While it’s a fixed lens, you still have some flexibility thanks to the digital zoom and field-of-view adjustment options via the NexiGo software. I downloaded the software from the manufacturer’s site with no issues, and it provides simple yet effective customization options, including exposure and zoom settings.The built-in noise-canceling microphone is another high point. I didn’t expect studio-level sound, but I’ve been impressed by how well it cuts down background noise. I work from home with occasional ambient noise (kids, kitchen clatter, etc.), and this mic still delivers clear, understandable audio. I’ve also used it for OBS and YouTube videos, and the quality is perfectly acceptable for professional content.The privacy cover is a simple but very much appreciated addition. In this day and age, a built-in privacy cover should be standard, and I’m glad this webcam includes one right out of the box.Setup couldn’t be easier—just plug and play. The webcam also works on my MacBook and even my Linux system, which is rare for many peripherals. NOT compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. I tried it on my computer and it works great, and even delivers a surprisingly good picture for the price, but I bought it for use with a Switch 2 and it sadly won’t work.

The Nexigo camera is easy to set up. It clamps onto the top of the monitor without blocking the monitor so I can leave it in place. It's lightweight and has a red power-on light and a green picture-on light on the front which makes it easy to see when it's working. The picture quality is very good. The camera comes with a privacy lid but I don't use it because the vendor recommends unplugging the camera when it is not in use. I installed a USB extension cable between the back of my desktop mini-tower and desk so it's easy to plug and unplug. I'm happy with this camera and would recommend it.

I’m a sign language interpreter and do most of my work virtually, so having a clear, lag-free webcam is essential. It’s been a constant struggle to find one I’m actually happy with. I’ve tried several models in the $150 range, and they’ve all been disappointing.Then I worked with a team interpreter whose video looked amazing — super crisp and smooth. I asked what his setup was and he told me it was this camera that made the difference. I immediately purchased one, and am so impressed by the quality.Honestly, don’t waste your money on overpriced webcams. This one blows the expensive ones out of the water. Total game changer.

Purchased in 2020, still working, and I use it very often.My laptop’s built-in camera died and I needed a camera to play D&D online. Then I started using it for online conferences & forums, and for work. It worked out of the box & has never given me any trouble. Just plugged it in and it worked immediately. Picture looks great, better than the old laptop camera. When I don’t need it I can put it away & it doesn’t take a lot of room. Very happy with it.

The first one I ordered was scrambling the image randomly, sometimes for 10 to 15 seconds and sometimes never stopped scrambling the image and I had to switch to my laptop camera and then immediately switch back to NexiGo webcam, and it would be fine. Thinking that this was a hardware issue with the first one I received, I ordered a second piece, but it has the same issue of scrambling image randomly. I would have given it a 2 star or 1 star for this, but when it works properly, image quality and sharpness at the edges of letters and numbers, even on small fonts on projected screen, is un-matched by any of the other 4 webcams of other brands that I ordered, to see if any of them matches the NexiGo. Unfortunately none of them did. Since there are no webcams in the price range I tried that comes even close to NexiGo's image quality, I am keeping the second piece and returning all the other 5 bad webcams. In the last few days I am noticing that even the 1 NexiGo webcam piece I have decided to keep, starts freezing the image randomly !! and I have to switch to my laptop webcam and then immediately back to NexiGo webcam to get it to work properly again !!!!
