World Traveler 81T16-163 Duffle Bag, One Size, Black Trim Zebra

I bought two of these (the cheapest two designs) for a trip on Spirit Airlines. I got the tickets for mostly-free with airline miles, but the add-ons were ridiculously overpriced. It was something like $40 EACH WAY for a single carry-on. I was able to purchase two of these duffles for less than the one way cost of a carry-on, thus saving myself $40+. I chose these because the measurements were within an inch of all of Spirit's new dimensions. I planned to simply not stuff them so full that it would be an issue at all. In each duffle I was able to pack 4 shirts, 4 pairs of underwear, 1 pair of pants, pajamas, a 13" macbook air computer, a book, socks, shorts, an assortment of chargers, toiletries, and some miscellaneous items. There was room left over in both after packing was complete. They have some nice features I wouldn't have thought important--each zipper has two pulls, which is nice; the top zipper is backed by a little loop of fabric that you can hold on to in order to keep the zipper taut and easy to move. There are pockets on each end and two on the long front side. The short top handles join together with a bit of padded-feeling fabric that makes it easier to carry by hand without bruising or chafing your palm. If I could change anything, I'd add about 6 inches to the long strap. It comes with a little rubber "pad" that helps distribute the weight better on your shoulder, but as a larger-than-average person, the fit of the bag to my body when I wore the strap across my chest was entirely too tight to be comfortable. I suppose if you have a longer strap from another bag you could switch them out pretty easily. These made it through our weekend trip very nicely. No tearing, no zipper snags, no weakening of the seams or closures.

It is so hard to research luggage sizes for airlines that are very restrictive. WOW airlines gives us one personal item, this meets the size requirements. You don't want to go too small and definitely cannot go too big or you get stuck paying a luggage fee for each leg of your trip, for us that is 2 out and 2 back. This is large enough that I figure with good choices each of us can pack our bag for a week and still have enough room for food, chromebook and maybe even fit a small squished down purse. Then I can check only a single suitcase and use the saved money for other things. Seems to be a decent quality and well within the size requirements (you cab't always tell until you can measure the physical item). Remember when measuring any bag with a restrictive airline, that the wheels and everything else counts. This is a personal item and does not have wheels.

Firstly i was searching for a personal item for spirit airlines for my vacation in October, came across this bag but a different print (I ordered the black and white zebra) and people saying it was perfect for spirit and approved. So I went on a hunt for a different print if possible. Found these babies! Perfect! This is very spacious for being 16 inches, do make sure if you are purchasing for restriction airlines you check dimensions closely because some patterns have different dimensions. 2 side pouches, 2 smaller front pouches and a main compartment is perfect for my needs. My boyfriend and I will be sharing our checked in luggage so I'll be packing some items in this so we can put bigger bulky stuff in the suitcase. The strap looks like it might suck, but you can always purchase a different one if it bothers you that much. I'm sure my packing cubes will also really keep things open and neat. Fits my daily purse inside also! Update 2018: Was able to take into united airlines as well! This was considered my personal item and I was able to bring a carry on luggage and didn’t need to check anything in! I love this bag. My mom even borrows it for her trips, might have to get her own soon!

The bag is very cute and a size good size for me. I love the chevron print and color. Plenty of pockets and even comes with a shoulder strap for a hands free carrying. This bag would be good for a short trip, weekend bag, gym bag, dance class, and even cute for the little ones for sleep overs! I was going to order another bag but the price keeps going higher and higher every time I check from the time my bag came in and I don't understand why.

I am very pleased with this bag!! It is roomy and functional. I bought it to use as my personal bag for flying. I was able to fit everything I needed inside with room to spare. There is a strap on the bag for it to wrap around the handle of my carry on. It fit perfectly under the seat. The colors are vibrant as well. Many reviewers commented on a bad odor but mine didn't have one. I got it on a Monday and packed it up the next day.

I used this as my personal bag for spirit airlines. I absolutely refused to pay their ridiculous baggage fees. I packed everything for four days in Vegas along with all my toiletries and extra shoes in this. For as small as this bag is there is actually a lot of room in it! There is a pocket on each side. A big middle pocket and a front pocket. I managed to pack four outfits, swimsuit, makeup, shoes, hair straightener, toiletries, phone chargers, and a carton of cigarettes in this bag. I was also able to fit souvenirs in it coming back. This is literally the perfect bag! The design is also way cute!

This is a great bag for the price; my only complaint is that the clip-on shoulder strap could be more substantial. Easy enough to replace though.

Not as big as the usual duffle type bag, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway with lots of compartments! Better quality than I expected :)
