Amodex has been my go-to stain remover for years. It works exactly as described. I originally purchased it to get Sharpie out of my son's new shirt. I followed the directions and low and behold, the permanent ink was gone. It did take two treatments but...Sharpie! I have used it for removing stains from clothing, the headliner in my car (pizza sauce) and blood on clothing. It also works well on skin. I recommend it over using Soft Scrub!The bottles are a nice size to add to your vacation or work emergency kits. The individual packets are perfect for a night on the town. If you're like me, I end up wearing something from my meal. :(It works...BUY IT!

I have used this product for years! It is amazing….even removes blood spots and ink spots. I have not had it hurt a single item I have used it on!

My daughter went outside to swing in her new white warm coat. Water ran down the side of the metal chain and embedded itself in the arm and armpit part of the coat. She came home in tears. I tried every known solvent one after another and could not get the brown (rusty?) stain out at all. I went to Lowe's and bought every stain remover I could get my hands on, including a small bottle of this. This is the only thing that worked!I ended up using the entire bottle and decided to stick up so found this on Amazon. It had been sitting for quite some time and was at the back of my laundry shelf, when my son showed me his white dress shirt. It was washed and dried but had a really weird stain on the front. He had no idea where it came from, only that it had probably been acquired at a frat party (?!). I didn't say anything and went to work. It started out dark grey.I lemoned, vinegared, bleached, etc. No luck. I washed it in the blue stuff. The shirt got whiter. The stain turned blue. Ugh. I rummaged through the laundry room and found this. One application and the stain was almost gone. I've applied it several times and achieved almost invisibility. You'd only notice if you are looking for it in bright light. I don't think it is perfect, but I told him it should be good enough for another frat party... (and it saves me from buying another $60 dress shirt)!

Had a stain on canvas and didn't do anything to it and left more stain. I don't recommend this product.

I have used this product since 2015 and always made sure I had one on hand, especially since only this product can get fountain pen inks out of clothes. It's gentle while you can get almost all kinds of stains out. The only other stain remover I used was from Laundress, which does a decent job but not as good as this.This particular listing is a great deal. I find the best/easiest way to use this product is by applying it (after shaking it!) on a stain spot and let it sit for awhile, even days. Fountain pen inks require a few repeat application/scrubbing process, but for most stains I would just throw it into the washing machine without scrubbing. Also, I had some moderate success with getting color transfer out of clothes over laundry mistakes. I would soak the piece of clothing in a water/amodex mix for awhile (usually days due to my laziness). I am not always successful but it does work—the only risk being that it may draw out the color I do want.This is one product I cannot find a replacement for—and I never had to either!

This leather cleaner and conditioner is a fantastic option! My father made all of us kids, and his grandkids tooled leather rockers on oak rocker frames. They are priceless! My daughter’s rocker was drawn on with a permanent marker. I purchased this product for her to be able to take the ink out.It is important to read the instructions before starting your project. Part of the positive result depends on going step by step according to instructions. There is increase in effectiveness if you let the product sit in n the leather longer. After completing 1 treatment you can repeat treatments over until you achieve the result!Amodex has many uses! It works on ink based stains, grease and oil stains, is safe for any fabric (but does advise testing on a small area first), and it is completely safe on skin! In fact,Amodex was originally created to remove printing ink from hands in the 1950s. And it is made in the USA. So, this product is great to carry with for hand cleaner!Photos to follow when I get them from my daughter.
