Also, it cuts the amount of needed resin by at least a third if not in half. I think a lot of epoxy resin producers make the substance way too thick on purpose so that you have to use twice as much. Still, the biggest advantage is that it pretty much eliminates air bubbles. Only point to note is that it increases cure time by quite a bit, almost doubles it. But for me, it’s worth the wait. I have read that there is another substance that can be used that is cheaper. But this is readily available and it works.

Used roller and worked out good. Covered great, left roller on pallet when finished. Could not remover roller from pallet nor would the roller come of the handle, that paint is strong!

Worked ok, still left with orange peel finish

Don’t mess around. If you are going to use Total Boat, epoxy primer, you must have this thinner. Acetone won’t work, Goof Off won’t work, Denatured alcohol won’t work. Save yourself, grief and just buy this if you have the Total Boat epoxy primer.

Purchased because reviews say epoxy primer is super thick. It is, but once mixed with the catalyst, it is perfectly useable without thinner. So, I tried to return it unopened. Turned out the fine print says “non returnable”. If I had purchased locally instead of from Amazon that would not be an issue. I am canceling my Prime membership. Things didn’t really get here much earlier anyway and easier returns were no bueno.
