I bought the Elite Gourmet double burner as a backup cooking option and it’s actually been very useful. I started using this on a daily basis. Setup was simple—just plug it in and start cooking. Both burners heat up reasonably well and work fine for everyday tasks like boiling water, reheating food, and basic pan cooking. I found it easy to use with the simple knob controls and clear heat settings. It’s nice having two burners when I need extra cooking space, especially for meal prep or when my main stove is full. The cast iron plates hold heat well, but they do take a bit of time to fully heat up and cool down, so it’s not super fast like induction. You just have to plan a little ahead. Build quality feels solid for the price, and it stays stable on the counter while in use. Cleaning is also straightforward once it cools down. Overall, it’s a solid, affordable countertop burner that does what it’s supposed to do. Not fancy, but reliable and useful when you need extra cooking space due to its compact size.

This was perfect for me to use when our stove top broke. Used this until we had the money to replace it. It does take a bit longer than a typical stove top to heat up. It’s a good quality and if I was the glamping type I would definitely use this.

This neat little countertop stove puts out plenty of well-distributed heat and doesn't take up much space. Heats up fairly quickly but doesn't draw so much current that it trips our 20 amp breakers during use. We ordered this little guy for our patio kitchen that has run for ages on a standard propane camp stove. We got tired of changing out bottles and dealing with the variable heat that camp stoves are famous for. The infinitely adjustable temperature knobs let us handle everything from pancakes to stir fry and cooking large pots of beans, etc. This little thing does it all with no fuss. The solid burners are wonderful. Stuff can't drop down under them. The heat is not perfectly distributed. Each burner has a hot spot in the upper edge, but letting it heat up for a few minutes before use takes care of that. With both burners running flat out it draws 1500 watts, which is about 12.5 amps, so it works fine on a 20 amp circuit. We've run this thing for hours on end with no problem. And all of that at a great price point. We paid for it the first time we didn't have to hook up a new propane bottle. We're wondering why we didn't do this years ago.

Going from gas to electric😵‍💫😵‍💫. The unit worked great for our temporary needs. Although it took like what seemed forever at times to get heated, it did it's job and served it's purpose for our family. Great price, functioned properly, light weight and would recommend.

I got two of these burners (2burners on each) after I tried the first one out and loved it. The reason I got it to begin with is that I have a very large glass cooktop made by GE which was very difficult to clean. And when our son left home and my husband took over his duties of cleaning countertops and the stove top after dinner, he hated it so much, I began to investigate what alternative methods I could use to cook a meal. I first tried cooking everything in the oven and burned myself badly twice! That’s when I investigated getting a burner that I could plug-in like this one. I love it! Yes, it takes longer to heat up to high but I just add time for that. I have never made better omelettes than using this burner and the reason is I can’t hurry along like I used to try on the stove top and then get it rubbery and overcooked! It cooks eggs absolutely perfectly. And everything else perfectly too. I even used it to boil pasta and it worked out great. I just had to give it extra time to come to a boil. So now I use two of these every evening and in addition, an incredible large electric pot for large meals that I want to simmer. For searing and browning food, I have another very large electric pan, as well, so the only time I’ve had to use my glass cooktop was for Thanksgiving when I was making too many items to use the burners. Cleaning that terrible cooktop twice a year for holidays is not too much for our family! So what you should know about these burners, is that they work perfectly, but you will need more time to get it hot to begin with. They are extremely easy to clean and there’s no place for anything to go underneath something that is unreachable. I overboiled some soup and thought that it would be a mess to clean up, but it wasn’t at all! I simply got a sponge and wiped it off. I can’t think of a single thing that I don’t like about these burners which are so incredibly reasonably priced. I hope if you get them that you enjoy them as much as I do!

It was not what I expected. Yes, it would work to keep food warm, but I was expecting to use it when my stove burners went out for cooking. It was not the greatest for boiling water to cook, macaroni or cook any other item but for keeping food warm, it would work great. I should have read the description better. The temperature was very low. Did not get to a high temperature enough to cook with barely keeping at a temperature to keep a large pan warm even. I plan to donate it to my Church that does dinners and potluck now that my stove has been replaced.

Just got this today as a backup because my new stove is giving me problems plus I think they are good to have for extra burners and so on. Came well packaged and nothing damaged. I tested it by turning the knobs at a level 3 and some have said it takes to long to heat I did not have that problem. Then I turned it up to the hotter level and it gets hot you need to do this anyway to burn off small amouts of smoke. I ran it for about 3 minutes. I did notice once you shut this off and unplugged it does take awhile for it to become complely cooled so make sure that it is cooled before putting it away for storing. I think its pretty nice and at the price point its a good deal. Would recommend.

I used a coil hot plate for the last 11 years and it finally kicked the bucket and so I needed a new one. And buying a flat top one was a good choice. I absolutely love this. I do wish the burners were a bit bigger they’re smaller than my old one.

The item arrived damaged, with a huge dent in the side. The packaging was awful as if we received a refurbished item, and not new. The item feels of extremely low quality, I wouldn't trust cooking on this with a high heat as the entire cooker became extremely hot. I have requested a refund two weeks ago, it's still pending. Next I will call Amazon customer service. Update: It's been two weeks and no refund - I just called Amazon and requested assistance. I could not understand the Amazon person's English - I had to ask a office colleague for help. Amazon told me to wait longer although it clearly states a refund would be initiated 3-5 days after returned. I am continuing to try and get a refund, five times I called amazon customer requesting assistance, each time the assistant politely asked to place me on hold and then disconnected the call.
