Does the job very well.

I've tried competing products from big-name brands. But I think Affresh knocks it out of the park every time. This includes the cleaners for washing machines, coffee makers, garbage disposals, and this dishwasher cleaner.If you look at reviews for various dishwashers you frequently find complaints about the smell. People don't have to do as thorough a job rinsing dishes anymore because the dishwashers and the detergent do such a good job cleaning. But there's a down side. to that. Dishes frequently stay in the dishwasher for a day or more and the residual food leaves an odor in the dishwasher. Affresh to the rescue - using it regularly seems to keep our dishwasher clean and odor-free.The package says you can simply add it to the dishwasher when running a normal load. We've done that but my preferred method is to put the Affresh in the dishwasher when it is empty and run a short cycle.It may sound like I have some connection to the Affresh people but I do not. I have no interest in them, just use their products. Is there any downside at all? Well, they are relatively expensive compared to some of the other available solutions. I have found that expense is well worth it.
