Excellent shoes with phenomenal stability and fit
Good for cycling, weight lifting, moving around. The only thing they aren't good for is running and really even walking. They're stiff like you would want a training shoe to be. They feel the most like a shoe out of any VFF I have had other than the KMD Evo. It is significantly easier to get these on and off than a lot of other vibram fivefingers. It takes me less than 5 seconds to get my foot in each of these compared to maybe a minute for my v treks. I can kick these off and slip them back on like regular sneakers. My feet are 26.5" or so from heel to longest toe. I got a size 43 men's because that's my size in v trek, but the toes are too long, so it fits a bit differently. I ended up grabbing size 42 and it fits like a glove. Wearing this feels like being barefoot, but with a really good grip on the ground as I squat or do whatever else. I would say that these measure true to size based on measurements. A bit less ground feel than the v treks. The strap over the upper helps a LOT with keeping the shoe from moving around. The heel is soft and comfortable. I am all in all very pleased with this shoe. I was worried that it wouldn't be good for running, but it's just perfect for really whatever you want to do. I lift weights, run on the treadmill and on roads/tracks with these. I keep my v treks for off road, but these are my daily drivers. No notes. Good job vibram.

Bare foot feeling
Very comfy feels like walking bare foot with protection soles, walking through grass gets cought between the toes but other than that its good.

True to size & work great!
Love em! True to size fits perfectly! I'm a 9-1/2 to 10, so I got a 9-1/2 to 10 US. If u want true to size, go with the US not the European size chart. To all the cry babies sayin they hurt. They don't hurt, they don't hurt cuz I don't wear those crazy padded shoes with those huge padded arches. I've always worn flat skater shoes & being barefoot so I'm use to it. If it hurts to anyone else than just give it time for ur feet to adjust to the flat surface & stop wearing arched super padded shoes & wear flat shoes. Get use to it & commit or just don't be something ur not.

Love it, but runs a bit small.
I had ordered the KSO prior to this model, the EUR 43 had a good fit. Not tight, not loose. Thinking that more than less that they had the same fit to my feet, I was sadly mistaken. I’ll have to go a size up. Unfortunately the size EUR 44 is not available. Initially, I would say that it is quite comfortable in a glove like fit, except for the overall length which is a tad small in my opinion for the second right toe. All the other toes have a comfortable space to move while flexing. Probably due to the rubber compound and cushioning used in this model, which I really love and appreciate since I’m still transitioning to barefoot. When I flex it, the second right toe seems to be hitting the edge, it felt constricted. It’s not the fault of the shoe, it’s just my feet’s anatomy probably. I look forward to the availability of the EUR 44 of the same color and model. I hope it becomes available here soon.

Best I Can Find So Far!
More like a 4.5 but I have tried so many different shoes to look for anything that even comes close to vibrams. Once you get used to these it makes regular sneakers feel clunky and unstable. That said, I don't run in these as some people suggest doing because I find it a bit too hard on the feet even with good running technique (perhaps over time or starting younger that might not be an issue). This specific pair has more cushioning than some of the others, I would say still under 2mm. It has a sole which adds some level of foot support and because of the design of this training oriented version, it also feels to me that it has a tiny bit of arch (I am regular footed with normal arches. I bought this pair as a backup pair as I have been playing and training for table tennis in these which at times gets a bit tough on the feet with all the footwork. That said, it keeps me feeling fast on my feet and very stable on the ground where as other shoes make me feel like I'm going to roll my ankle sometimes. All in all a great shoe that will work in a variety of applications depending on your experience going barefoot and the condition of your feet.

These shoes change the way you walk
Remember when you were a little kid and got new shoes - you could run faster and jump higher. Not to be too meladrammaculous, but wearing these peds makes me want to walk toe to heal like the Native Americans did. I actually bought these after moving to the Colorado Rockies. I began hiking with "hiking boots". But I was like a city slicker crashing through the woods. I wanted to be more stealth, more harmonious with nature. So I got a pair of water socks. The sound reduced about 70% (I was onto something). But while walking on boulders they would sometimes roll on my foot sideways - not good! So I upgraded to these. Oh boy, what a difference. These fit my feet literally like gloves - foot gloves. They feel REALLY good and kind of massage each of my toes. These are now my cadillac hikers. But (and there's always a but in the story) they are Not easy to put on. It takes A WHILE to get the nac of separating each of your little piggies into their respective place. The design of this product is ALMOST complete. It needs to have an upper drawstring or elastic band with a lycra topper of a couple inches to seal out the dirt, sand, and twigs from entering. Cause once they drop in, you gots ta take these things off, which is easy, and then the putting back on must be done.

Design failure x2
I love this initially as designed. It has the extra upper structural support and tread for some high impact plyo and agility workouts. Specifically I loved the lacing system. And I Tolerated the strap. Unfortunately for some reason Vibram decided to use these barely sewn on fabric loops to thread the laces system instead of having them go directly through the upper material as they do on the kso and v-alpha laced models. I don’t know why they opted to make that change because it’s has led to the sewn on fabric loops to tear away from the upper section on 2 pairs of these shoes rendering them unwearable. The first pair failed the 3rd time wearing them. And the second pair failed after about 3 dozen workouts. If your looking for laces vibrams try the previously mentioned versions. I love those. But if you are wanting these specifically for the laces system, save your money. The only way I see these lasting is if you barely tighten the laces to ensure zero pressure on the sewn on loops and rely entirely on the strap. I’m past my return window with Amazon. I’ll try to reach out to vibram directly but I’m wondering if I’m out the $90+ I wasted on these. Incidentally I love the kso and v-alphas and their lace systems. And still use both of those pairs.

My favorite trail running shoes so far
I had to get these because I wore through the soles of my previous Vibrams over the course of 1.5 years of trail running in forest/mountain terrain. The fit is snug all around with socks, except that the toes are slightly longer than I need them to be. I might have small toes. Although I was hoping to rebuy the exact same shoes again, these (V-Train 2.0) have turned out to be slightly superior with no regressions to complain about so far. I've been trail running in the new shoes for a few weeks now, I'm going to guess 100 to 200 km or so. They are great in the forest or on textured rubber track, but terrible on asphalt and other perfectly solid smooth surfaces, just like the previous thin-soled toe shoes. They also work as water shoes. So, I would highly recommend them for running and playing on natural surfaces, but I would not recommend them for running on paved city paths, boardwalks or for basketball. I can see that the ruggedness of the shoe has been increased in several ways, but none of that will matter if I wear through the sole as quickly as I did to the previous Vibrams; my previous shoes had no significant damage other than sole wear at the balls of the feet. Having said that, the rubber seems slightly harder in the new shoes, and that feels good.
