Small size and works very efficiently and easily drained a fuel tank with a long tube (2 metres) into the petrol tank. The pump was located on the floor. It required priming to start the flow and quickly emptied the tank of 20 litres in about 10 minutes (which will depending on tube, levels and fuel). I used a Sealey VS020 Brake & Clutch Bleeder Vacuum pump connected to the tube on the outlet side of the pump to pull the petrol up into the pump to prime it and then diverted the flow into a 20L Jerry can, from there on it worked flawlessly. It is possible that priming may not be required on a shorter inlet pipe? Watch out for prolonged intervals of large air bubbles when the tank is near empty as they may starve the pump of liquid and cause problems although the pump documentation does not mention dry running.I used 10mm ID x 13mm OD Clear PVC Tubing with small jubilee clips. These were the very small size at 8mm width across the band, anything larger will not seal as they do not form a consistent circle when tightened.The tube and pump does not seem to be affected by E10 petrol but time will tell. The pump comes with a filter. The documentation states that the pump will maintain good flow with a 2.13 meter height distance on the inlet side.For safety reasons first connect the short leads from the pump to a length of leads with secure connections and then connect the other end of the leads to a battery well away from the pump and any extraneous petrol and fumes. This will ensure any sparks when connecting are well away from the petrol. Also do not try to start a siphon or prime the pump by manual sucking as the petrol and fumes can be dangerous to health.

Fitted, works a treat! Excellent.

It does the job while the pump motor is cold, but the pump motor gets very hot quickly & then it starts to struggle.
