SONY Walkman NW-A25 16G High-resolution sound, Lime Yellow, International English Version, Replaces A15

Superb sound over LDAC with Sony MDR-1ABT when listening to hi res audio (flac 24/96). Battery life is very good. Used it on a few very long bus trips (over 24 hours over 2 days) and while flying from Philly to Spain, battery was always superb, at least 20 hours playing hi res files, probably more. Samsung Evo Plus 128gb microsd card seems to work great. Various styles of hi res music from fleetwood mac, vivaldy and pavarotti, to rammstein plays simply fantastic, very realistic feel of presence.Overall very happy with this device, and there is only one build quality issue which does not affect sound quality: there is a very tiny gap on one side of the device between front and back covers and i can feel plastic bending slightly when I press on back button, it also produces very faint squeaking sound sometimes. This is a minor issue (which still annoys me a bit) and I decided to keep the device anyway as sound quality wise it's simply superb.

Sony Walkman seems slightly superior compared to its apple counterpart. Apple has the style and functionality over Sony, but not the quality. All of the music is enhanced by Sony's High Resolution. Sony's does a great job in cleaning up the music, however in some cases you can tell the computerized addition/fix. In my case I can tell on poor quality MP3's from the late 90's. 99% of the songs are phenomenal. Power Save is great! Took me a little bit to get use to the 90% charge factor. I would have to write a review in 3-5 years. At a $200 price point on Amazon, if it lasts 5 years, it would be $40 a year. not bad for a music player. Not sure I would buy it in the mid $300s. Blue tooth works great, some radio stations do not come in, but I did not buy it for radio. 3% of my time would be radio. Car Audio: Sony rocks the car radio. the Sound is louder and clearer than Apple. It is still lower in sound level than CD or Radio, but a few notches less to get high volumes than Apple is great. Added bonus is expandability, Micro chip added to an already 16GB is awesome. Something that no Apple offers. No need for Cloud tech. The Player itself seems cheap, but it is actually durable and strong plastic.

It's a very nice mp3 player but build quality could be better for $240

I love this. I got rid of my big clunky phone while running and working out. I don't even notice I have this item on. The sound is very good. I am enjoying the noise canceling and minor modifications you can make in the menu. I don't use the radio or plan to. I have a 200gb micro sd card holding all my music. Size, sound, and quality make this an awesome device to have. I paired with the iGadgitz Reflective Anti-Slip Black Sports Jogging Gym Armband and -MODA Zn In-Ear Modern Audiophile Headphones and I am in heaven.I deal with the minor inconvenience of the cable but who cares when the ear buds stick in my ear and the sound is amazing.

This is a great MP3 player, I love everything about it. Beautiful design, amazing sound, long battery life, nice graphics. i couldnt be happier with it

Superb audio quality in an affordable digital audio player. The expandable microSD slot allows me to have my complete music collection while travelling. Good earphones are essential to take advantage of this Sony.

Using it for 4 Months .. It's only for Music lovers.... Use it with Extra Bass headset from Sony.. To get the best results.. battery backup is good... User Interface is Ok.. It would be great if it had micro USB for connectivity.. After paying 13k is so sad to see no Headphones included..
