Ruger 10/22 w/6x24 scope
Works well with a gun that has a small to medium size scope. I have a arken 6x24 30mm scope on a Ruger 10/22 and it will not allow me to close the lid without modifying the bedding. Other than that, the case is great.

the best flag case I have ever bought
this is exactly what I was looking for! I wouldn't carry a gun in it, though. it's kind of flimsy and with one lock on it, a seven year old could get a gun out in about ten seconds. with two locks on it, a determined seven year old could peel that open right quick. the latches are a little hard to manage, because they flip inside the case while you're trying to close them. it's lightweight and unencumbered by any silly gasketing that would keep water out. I wouldn't trust it for carrying any firearm, but it is perfect for the purpose I bought it for, which was to carry my semaphore flags. semaphore flags fit in there quite nicely and the foam holds them snugly. if you need to go to an event where for some reason you need a locking container for your semaphore flags, this box is a great value and looks snazzy.

Description says economy amd it is , but for the money it is a foam lined lockable rifle case from a reputable manufavturer . Gets my rifle traveling legally for a reasonable price . I am satisfied .

Needs to be taller for modern carbines
Well made case for the price compared to the others on the market. The latches work, the plastic seem decently strong, the foam unfortunately isn't attached so you will need to apply your own adhesive of choice. However, if you're trying to use this for any modern AR-15 platform, it's going to be a game of angles in how you're going to get it to fit properly without removing optics or vertical grips. If you have any red dots with co-witness mounts it's most likely going to touch the walls of the case along with the pistol grip and maybe the bottom of your receiver. This thing needs to be 1-2" taller and the same amount narrower to accommodate modern carbines.

Perfect budget option to comply with your local traveling ordinances
This is a great cheap option. It does feel thin, but it’s not for airplane travel. It’s for local compliance laws. Might not fit a scoped AR style, but would probably be perfect for a 1022 style with a scope. Fits all of the above without a scope. And it’s made in the USA right in Texas! If you’re looking for an airplane case condition1 does make what you’re looking for, but this is not the airplane model. Still great quality, perfect price.

Simple storage solution
Great for simple storage, it's light enough to store guns in trunk, but don't recommend for airline travel.
