Effective!
I love this Face Scrub! The texture is just right, gritty enough to exfoliate without being too harsh. The coffee scent is rich and energizing. After using it, my skin feels smooth, refreshed, and noticeably softer. It also helps wake up dull skin and gives a healthy glow. If you’re looking for a natural scrub that really works, this one’s a great choice!

Love!
Love this scrub! The smell isn’t super strong, it doesn’t clog my pores (like some exfoliants do with the larger beads), makes my skin feel super smooth. I do use it in the shower and it does live like a very slight greasy feeling, but when I get out of the shower it’s gone so it doesn’t really bother me. Also, I have had bad experiences with plastic jars and water getting into it and dissolves the scrub so they don’t last very long. This comes in a glass jar and I never have that issue with it

Nope.
The jar looked like the product had been opened. There was no seal on the jar or the box it came in. The oily residue left on my skin was excessive and took a vigorous soap and water scrubbing to get off.

Mixed…
So, I love the concept of this product and it’s a brilliant marketing idea, but I have to agree it is basically just mixing some vitamin E oil and maybe some other things with my used coffee grounds, packaging in a very cute little jar, and selling online. NOW, if you aren’t the type of person to DIY self care products then by all means buy it! It does feel good on my skin, I like the coffee smell, and it works to exfoliate without being drying. The actual product, like I said, it feels good, I like the smell of coffee, and it makes my skin soft. The primary problem is that it has no binding/sticking properties so it’s extremely crumbly and messy to apply and have on. I have to lean over the sink the whole time or apply it in the shower. Problem number two is that these are coffee grounds, straight up, so they are in your sink and shower and going down your drains as though you dumped them directly from your coffee maker into the drain… not good for plumbing. Problem 3, because they don’t have a cohesive property, getting them out of the container is again, very messy. And finally, whatever is mixed in that makes scrubbing these coffee grounds into my skin not drying also leaves a bit of a film, is the only way I can explain it. Not necessarily unpleasant, but for me I feel like it needs to be washed off with soap afterwards. So, buy with the knowledge of what it actually is! It’s inspired me to save my own used coffee grounds and make my own scrub, though! Great DIY idea :)

Great for exfoliating. A little oily.
Love this product! I’ve been using it for years. It does leave my face feeling a little oily after so I use a face wash after I use this scrub but this is great for exfoliating.
