I recently purchased the Essential Fondue Cookbook and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. As someone who enjoys entertaining and trying new recipes, I was looking for a comprehensive guide to fondue cooking, and this book has definitely delivered. One of the things I love most about the Essential Fondue Cookbook is the variety of recipes it includes. The book features 75 decadent recipes for cheese, meat, seafood, and chocolate fondue, as well as recipes for dips, sauces, and sides. There's something for everyone, whether you're a fondue beginner or an experienced pro. I also appreciate the clear and concise instructions provided for each recipe. The recipes are easy to follow, and the book includes helpful tips and techniques for making perfect fondue every time. I just became interested in fondue so I needed a book to help get going, right? So this is the one I chose.... don't get me wrong it has good recipes and suggestions but in my opinion it's not exactly beginner friendly. The chapter on different fondue pots for example doesn't really guide you toward which one would suit you best just what the different types are. The author also lists things to dip which is basically anything but doesn't pair anything up with a recipe. In my opinion the author lists her schooling and experience but doesn't actually use this to really complete your experience she just lists things very factually. I guess I was looking for more guidance and maybe more of her opinion on what you should do.
