Cavenders, Seasoning Greek Salt Free, 7 Ounce

Started reducing sodium after my BP began approaching the pre-hypertension range. This seasoning is the best I've tried. I can honestly say if somehow I was able to eat all the sodium I wanted without any consequences I would still use this product. Its that good. If it has any downsides its that it tastes so close to salt that it could make it harder to reduce your salt craving.

I love the Mediterranean cooking and it is so healthy for you! Generally are use individual spices blended my way for many of my dishes as I love to cook but when I am doing something quickly and I want a bit of the flavor of the Greek Islands in the Mediterranean I grabbed this container and with a few sprinkles I’ve added a touch of the Mediterranean without the heavy salt for my quick meals And I highly recommend you try this!

We wanted to make a lifestyle change and started purchasing the top rated salt free seasoning. We loved the original version and this one by far was the best selection. Don’t get me wrong, I remember at first it wasn’t as good as the salt version, but after a couple weeks it was amazing. We have been using this for three months now and this is absolutely our favorite for steaks and lamb. The other salt free seasoning never grew on us like this one. We can toss the original one out and will never switch back.

The flavor is phenomenal but I have to use a lot less because the taste is so extremely salty. Great for getting in that extra potassium, perhaps. Would be perfect in a salt-free/potassium chloride-free format.

This spice is great on chicken, pork and more, adds a great flavor that is out of the ordinary.

Such a great seasoning for chicken and its salt free

I used Cavenders Greek seasoning for the first time several years ago when my sister sent me 2-8 oz. containers as part of a birthday gift. It is one of the best, most useful and prolific gifts I have ever received. I use this seasoning on chicken, beef, pork and seafood dishes and in soups and stews as well. This is one of the best seasonings I have ever used. I refuse to cook without it. I use the salt free Cavenders as often as I use the Cavenders with salt. Whatever your choice,I suggest that everyone who wants to pump up the flavor of their foods try this seasoing and like me, you will make it a staple in your household.

I was a bit disappointed. I should have read the ingredient label before purchasing.I thought I was ordering a product without added sugar or salt. This has a salt substitute in it( potassium chloride) and contains sugar. My own fault for not looking closer. Did not think about sugar content because it says 0 calories. Serving size is a 1/4 tsp, which would make in a negligible amount, however I'm sure for cooking, I would be using more than a 1/4 tsp.Taste is not bad, but it's not what I was looking for.
