My 10 year old got the hang this metal detector very quickly and was soon finding all sorts.

Looked like a good metal detector for a beginner easy to put together but then difficult to use and not many instructions with it so hard for a first time user and children.

I have just sent a request to the supplier for a refund as it doesnt detect metal, beeps when it goes over stones.. it is pretty useless to be honest. I am waiting to hear back from them for a refund.

So the detector arrived early, I thought I'd set it up as a surprise for my 11 yr old, it was well packaged, it looks good quality, and tbh ,if the plug part for the meter was not broken it had the potential to be a good detector, but as I cant try it I cant really comment, a bit miffed I have to wait 48hrs for my refund request to be reviewed, before I can send it back, then probably will have to wait days for an actual refund, my little lad is upset and was hoping to find some treasure, coins etc before his return to school, but as i have to wait for my request to be reviewed i cant purchase another one......I have placed a claim with Amazon, and now the company is refusing to send a replacement unless I withdraw my claim, I feel I am being blackmailed into withdrawing the claim with no guarantee I'll receive a replacement although Amazon customer service are being fab with advice not to withdraw

I think the quality is really poor and it beeps when it goes over stones . It beeps constantly. I found it to be useless to be honest

Parts missing, 5mins and it was back in the box, really annoying.
