I gave it 4 stars because it checks off all the things I was looking for. Not too big, but a little smaller than what I was hoping for and not as deep as I expected. The compartments was a must as I wanted to organize my bag as much as possible. You are able to adjust to your liking, within limit as the longer piece only fits one way. There is a pouch to store brushes on the lid of the bag with a small zipped pouch for extra storage. This might work well for someone with the minimal amount of makeup, such as myself. Or it can be used as a travel bag.Personally, for the price, I believe you could find something a little more fitting for your needs. But overall, it's an okay bag!

I brought this with me to California for my best friend's wedding! It not only held ALL of my makeup that I needed to bring (which was A LOT) but also held all of my brushes, my makeup sponges, AND my jewelry. I love that the compartments are able to be customized to the sizes that I needed them to be, as a lot of makeup packaging are not square any longer. I packed it in my suitcase and after being on a plane and rolling my suitcase through the airport parking lot and being lifted multiple times, my makeup stayed intact! No eyeshadow was pushed around, no palettes were harmed! Everything was in the exact same condition it was in before I left for California when I returned home! Buy this, you won't regret it!

It’s great if you like to pack a lot of makeup up but it’s too big for my travel needs. I travel for work on a monthly basis for which I try to pack light. I stopped using it for work travel because it would take up a quarter of my carry on luggage. However I still use it for longer trips. I just put it in my checked bag.

Bought for my youngest daughter. She likes it for the limited items she has.

I haven't used for a trip yet. But I can tell this is one of the best travel things I have ever purchased. Don't be on the fence. It's one of the best makeup organizers you can get.I grew up around military guys and gun cases. This case is quality. It's well thought out and just as good a quality as a nice gun case (not a hard plastic pelican- but you know what I mean). The bottom and sides of the case are thick and hard to protect your products. The foam dividers are amazing quality and rigid. The makeup brush fold is lined behind it with thick plastic to protect the integrity of the bag. The zippers a pretty decent quality- not cheap fall apart zippers. The narrow zipped section on the top is a little tight. But I was able to fit a travel mirror in there and some travel tissues and disposable cotton rounds.I'm excited about my case. My mom and aunts will be in total envy in a month. About to road trip with my husband this weekend and seeing a few dozen relatives- but mostly dudes... My husband wants to figure out how he can use one- he's totally impressed by the quality.I bought the medium. I debated between the medium and large. The medium ended up being a decent size for me. It fits in all three of my suitcases (standard sizes carry on, medium one, big one).One thing to know is that the brush area on the medium won't fit my full sized brushes from IT cosmetics without it squishing them. But the travel sizes brushes fit with plenty of room. The dimensions on the large makeup case probably fits the full size brushes no problem.Love this case. Most likely going to buy a large one. And I am curious about the small.

I don't have a ton of makeup since I don't wear it often, but the stuff I do own is luxury brands that I don't want to just toss in a bag or drawer, so I bought this to keep it all contained. For the most part I can fit just about everything but my Too Faced Born This Way foundations are too tall to fit upright and laying flat you risk spillage and can't get near as many in the slots as you could if they were able to stand. Zipper isn't super high quality either so if you'll be getting into this every day or multiple times a day you might have issues. I snagged it during a promo - absolutely would not pay full price for this case

I was looking for a durable and trendy looking case for my Nintendo switch and hated how expensive they were when it’s literally comparable to a makeup case like this one!! So I bought this to save some money and it fits the oled model, 4 controllers, all of the accessories perfectly.. and then some! I’m sure this is great for makeup too, but I definitely don’t have enough to fill this thing with makeup. It’s huge! Super happy with my purchase.
