Thirteen Chefs 20 x 16 Inch Marble Pastry Board and Cutting Board for Bakers, Pastries, Chocolate - Large Marble Serving Platter with Feet

I bake and make my own pies and pastries, chocolates (and during the holiday candy) and this is the most versatile, durable, and affordable board you can get. For something that is in near constant use in my kitchen I will pay top dollar for quality. So many other boards I’ve seen (and some purchased and promptly returned) were of uneven thickness, not polished well enough for candy-making, or simply too thin. The board I’ve had for years broke and I was certain I wouldn’t be able to find a replacement during lockdown and then I found this. From what I found when running down the company, it is made/sourced in Taiwan, not China (unlike Sur le Table’s, Williams Sonoma — only one of their smaller ones is sourced from Spain — or Crate and Barrel, all who charge two to three times as much for lesser quality). This board is thick, the feet stay in place. It is heavy. It’s also solid marble, and although it feels indestructible, it isn’t and like any marble, will crack or break if not handled properly. I purchased the larger size and it lives on my kitchen island. It arrived meticulously wrapped with not a chip or scratch. I clean mine with a simple wet paper towel and dry with a clean cloth. The smooth, cool surface helps you make quick work of pastry and pie doughs. If you are going to store yours I’d recommend the smaller version. I can’t recommend this enough and this is the longest review I’ve ever left anywhere. Best purchase I’ve made on Amazon.

exactly as described! very heavy with perfect rubber "feet"

I was worried that it might be too small (because I'm terrible at visualizing dimensions) but it's the size of your typical cutting board. It's made of real marble, so each one will be a little different from the one in the photo, but mine is actually much nicer. The packaging was very good (and not excessive) which I was also concerned about since I ordered a similar one on Amazon from Greenco and it was destroyed in shipping. The feet look sturdy, and a very small part of the corner has been taken off so it isn't sharp and pointy (which I thought was a really nice touch). Unless you're looking at it up close, you can't even tell that the corners have been slightly rounded. They put attention into the details and really did a great job with this

It’s really nice and heavy, i think it’ll last if you don’t drop it. The design is really nice feels classy. The board has a kind of a gritty texture to the under side. It’s a nice board for the price. It would have 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the leg came off immediately.

I bought the 12x16 and the larger one when they were on sale. they arrived with styrofoam supports in the box so they were in perfect condition. i like to use these like huge coasters. they are perfect for side tables, buffet risers, vanity trays and to protect furniture from damage from clay planters. they add a nice texture to contrast with a wooden table. the finish is shiny and i prefer matte so i’ll try to seal them with a matte sealer.

This is a beautiful,large,marble, pastry board. It is really heavy so it will definitely not slide around while you are rolling out pastry. It is a quality piece of marble and very easy to clean.

My wife is a Brazilian Chef and loves this product. I love the size and quality.

Item was great just wished it wasn’t broken and chipped. Whoever was packing it thought that putting a 25 marbled piece into a box with one crumpled up piece of paper would do the trick. I have a replacement coming I really hope it’s not broken.
