Exactly what I ordered. They worked perfectly.

These work very well combined with a UV light bug zapper, but these are pricey.I suppose keeping mosquitoes at bay outweighs the amount of money, oh and you should know these smell like decaying mushrooms because in essence it is exactly the same chemical output by mushrooms decaying.There aren't many solutions to attract and kill mosquitoes that are this effective so it's earned five stars. But, it is still pricey and makes me wonder if i can just put some rotting shitake or white mushrooms in my zapper for mosquitoes to fly to.Anyways, good solution when combined with a bug zapper, much better than repelling mosquitoes from your body or rooms in the house.

You're probably tired of your bug zapper only attracting moths and other light attractant bugs, and you've come to this listing because you learned that a big zapper requires octenol cartridges in order to attract mosquitos. I wish bug zappers didn't have to use these cartridges because they are very expensive, but I can tell you that the Mosquito Magnet brand does work. I've tried other brands with little to no luck. I've also tried hanging sugar water near the zapper and it doesn't help either. So, now that you know you need these cartridges, let me tell you the good and the bad.PROS:1. Exact replacement for flowtron BK-80D Electronic Insect Killer (Bug Zapper)2. Packaging will keep cartridges fresh when not in use.3. Octenol smells very strong with just one cartridge.CONS:1. Octenol smell fades after a little over a week and it loses its potency.To sum up this review, the octenol does work for mosquitos and is very strong initially. It becomes very weak after about 7 days even tho it is suppose to last for one month. I will most likely continue to buy more of these because my options for mosquito elimination are limited and I cannot stand to get bit since I end up with bite welps the size of quarters. It's just one of those things that, I'll buy but I'm not necessarily happy about it. It is a 4 star product.I have also included pictures and a video with this review.

This product (Octenol) works with all models of the Mosquito Magnet and with many models of the SkeeterVac. I have found that it does seem to increase the catch rate of the night-biting mosquitoes over just using the CO2/heat/moisture of the MM/SV alone. However you'll need Lurex (Mosquito Magnet LUREX3N - Lurex3 Attractant, 3-Pack) for the daytime-biting Tiger mosquitoes so unless you have multiple traps around your yard (as I do) you'll need to pick & choose which type of mosquito is most prevalent in your area. (I read elsewhere that Tiger mosquitoes are actually repelled by Octenol so sadly you really do have to pick & choose one.)Oddly, on my SkeeterVac's TacTrap (SkeeterVac CPSX000021 TacTrap Replacements) I've discovered that other pests seem to prefer either Lurex or Octenol too. Flying cockroaches, for example, are most commonly trapped in my SkeeterVac TacTrap running Lurex, while horse flies and house flies seem to prefer getting stuck in the SkeeterVac TacTrap running Octenol. Gnats and no-see-ums get stuck both places and/or vacuumed up into the SV (Blue Rhino SV3100 SkeeterVac Mosquito Eliminator, 1-Acre Coverage) or MM (Mosquito Magnet MM4100 Patriot Mosquito Trap) fan/screen trap.

E' lo stesso prodotto disponibile su altri siti ma, quando l'ho acquistato io, ad un prezzo inferiore.Le zanzare le attrae, ma non basta per risolvere il problema zanzare, almeno per me che abito in campagna...

Aggiunto al mosquito pioneer, non ha assolutamente funzionato. È tutto il sistema che non funziona. Siamo pieni di zanzare e la retina del mosquito rimane sempre vuota, sia con l'octenol che senza. Soldi veramente buttati al vento.
