BLUEAIRBlue - Air Purifier

We have 2 dogs in the house and I also suffer with seasonal allergies, so thought I would give this a try.I have this in my bedroom, and I've been really impressed with it. I'm sleeping much better and no longer feeling congested when I wake up. The air in the room feels so clear and healthy.Noise wise, it is really good. It has 3 settings, low-medium-high. On the lowest setting, it really is whisper quiet. Medium setting gives off a white/static noise - I like a background noise, so can still sleep through this. On the highest setting, I would say it's too loud to sleep through, but that's just me. I only use the high setting after I've vacuumed etc. I mostly keep it on medium, although the past few nights, I've switched it to low.The fabric 'pre-filter' cover does a great job at catching hair from the dogs, pet dander and dust. I wash mine each week. My unit came with 2 pre-filter covers, which is great. It means I can wash one, while still having the spare on the go. I've really noticed less dust settling on the bedside tables etc It's made a big difference.It's a simple unit to use, with only 1 button, which you press to go up the levels.My only negative point is the display LED's. It's a bit brighter than I expected, however I am getting used to it at night and isn't really a problem. The LED's come on, depending on which level you have it at.I've been so impressed with Blueair, I've purchased 2 more! I have the bigger 405 Classic in the lounge and the smaller Blue 411 in my home office. They are all really impressive. Quiet and very low energy use, which we are all very mindful of these days.Highly recommended.

I paid for this device £150 literally in May 22, now its £400 which is insane! But when it comes to the device itself, its amazing I feel the difference in the air, I am often working from home and purified air keeps me focused longer without feeling tired. Of course this will not replace fresh air but for anybody living in the city it's a 100% recommendation from me to have this as our environment is toxic and in long run your health will benefit from it. When it comes to filters, I am using this quite often there are days where this device works 24/7 but not all the time and recently I bought filter but because I wanted to buy it, not because the device was asking for it. It's been now over 5 months and it still runs on the original filter which i had with it, the replacement costs £60 I think this price per every 6/7 months is a good deal.

I bought this mainly because I have housemates that smoke and often lie about going outside, my worry about my lungs and my pets was increasing noticeably because of this.So after doing a lot of research on air purifiers I found and settled on this one, you want a purifier that will give your room size at least 5 air changes per hour which Blueair does! My room is much smaller than what the unit can be used in but I wanted something effective in clearing any stray smoke.I must say since buying this I haven’t been able to smell any stray smoke in my room that may have drifted up when housemates were smoking at the door downstairs. If any cooking smells drift up into my room this purifier clears them very quickly.I have pet rats and so their lungs are very sensitive, I feel much more at ease having this air purifier now. It hasn’t cleared their smell completely but it doesn’t bother me much since all pets smell a little and it’s done a great job at clearing what I needed it to.The unit is a little noisy, on the lowest setting it’s quiet, I normally have it on medium which is noisy but you get used to it. I never really have it on high since it’s very loud and probably better suited for an office or in a house rather than a bedroom if used on high. It doesn’t have a timer unfortunately but I find I just leave it almost constantly running anyway so it doesn’t bother me.Overall I’m so happy I bought this, it does what it says, is very powerful and gives me so much peace of mind that my pets and I are breathing in smoke free, clean air.

Great product, speedy delivery, easy to install, stylish design, great value for money.My younger daughter suffers from hay fever and it is very bad this year. She got itching eyes and keeps sneezing, can’t sleep at night. We have to keep her off school for a few days as her eyes were swallowed.We have tried couple of air purifiers before, either it does not do the job or it’s too noisy.After doing quite a bit of researches, we decided to give blue air ago, it been a game changer. It’s very quiet and She sleeps much better now. We are very pleased.The only downside is maybe the cost of replacing the filter as it has to be changed every 6 months, it could be costly. But as long as she is not suffering from hay fever, it’s all worth it. Highly recommended

Cracking piece of kit. Was a little skeptical at first but wow! Amazing to see how much dust this take out of the air just from the pre filter. Not too noisy, in fact we leave on throughout the night for better air.Recommended product in my view

I have owned the blueair blue pure 411 for two years now. It was an absolute game changer as it allows both my dogs to be in the same room as me without triggering my allergies.When the much bigger blueair blue pure 221 was on 70% discount, I did not hesitate the purchase. Results were amplified as expected and would highly recommend it.

This is a big, but effective machine. I’m asthmatic and struggle with bad hayfever, and noticed a clear difference when was on. Only niggle was that the light cannot be turned off, and at night this can be frustrating.HOWEVER… Be warned that, should the machine fail, Blueair have ZERO interest in helping you. My machine stopped powering on - Their response “It sounds like it is faulty on the inside and there is nothing we can do unfortunately.” It is now nothing more than an expensive plastic box.
