This rug pad works really well. It’s thick and provides nice cushioning underfoot, and it keeps the rug securely in place without slipping or bunching. It was easy to trim to size and fits perfectly under my rug. Great quality and definitely makes the rug feel more comfortable and stable.

I have tried a few of these under large rugs in the past and didn’t find them to be much help in keeping the rug from moving, especially with the dog who loves to chase toys and slide on them! But this one seems to actually do the job! Not too thick to make the rug bulky or sit higher as a trip hazard, but still provides a bit of cushion under foot. Easy to cut to fit. No weird smell. Will definitely be buying another for my family room!

Best rug pad thus far!! Thick, does not move at all on tile floor! I was so frustrated with the regular rug pad I’d been using that did nothing to keep runner in place, this pad absolutely works great! I will order this pad from now on , on any other rugs I buy. Lays flat, rubber gripper backing and felt top. Stays in place, able to cut to size, comfortable to walk on.

Not as thick asI was hoping keeps it from moving around.

This made my cheap rug feel like a luxurious rug. The only down side is the top rug keeps slipping a little bit off the pad, making the pad show. I just used Velcro tape on both ends of the rug and pad and no longer had the problem. I would definitely buy again.

Very thick for use intended- too thick for hallway runners to use regularly at that size!

Where do I begin? The quality of the product was amazing. I bought a washable carpet at a well-known brand which required a mat. The carpet was a bit expensive so I thought I would acquire the mat later Because the Matt was over $100. I decided to buy this at the budget price and give it a try. I was not disappointed. In fact, it’s better than the Matt that the other Carpet dealer offered. The 5 x 7 is a little larger than the carpet and I had no trouble cutting it down and fitting it into the corner slats underneath my carpet. Beautiful and I almost went third the price! I just had to review so that others would know how great this product is and how well-made. By the way, no frayed edges after cutting.

It arrived a week earlier than expected, zero smell. It works perfectly for my area rugs on my hardwood and laminated wood floors. I wanted this one in particular because the rubber backing is safer for these types of flooring. I got the thinner padding, so it is soft to walk on, but not as soft as the thicker padding obviously. I was so pleased with the first one that I ordered the second one for my other area rug since the corner stick on pads were not securing the carpets. Compared to other companies offering rubber backed under pads this price was the most reasonable.

This is a good product. My landlord put brand new flooring in and asked that I not use jute back rugs because it eventually dulls the floor. I put one of these down first and it is working great. The area rug doesn't budge either!

I’m not great at remembering to write reviews even though I rely on them myself, but this was a superb purchase. My rug is not moving a centimetre even with only light furniture and cats running back and forth over it. And the rug feels great with the extra cushion — this pad is perfectly suitable for even a high pile rug on a hard floor. I hate spending $$ on something that’s going to be hidden under a rug and have relied on discount solutions (the little sticky netting-type pads), but this all-around rug pad is a must-have to complete the overall effect if you don’t want your rug slipping, edges curling etc.

Haven’t had long but holding up nicely. Hasn’t been moving around and has made the carpet nice and soft
