Skinnygirl Coffee Pods, Americano, Espresso Roast Coffee in Single Serve Pods for Keurig K Cups Brewers, 24 Count

I'm kind of snob of a guy about my coffee. I don't want to be, but I am. I've worked on marketing for 3 different coffee brands in the last 20 years, tasted a fun mix of them, and I've just become kind of hard to please. And I LOVE THIS coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this coffee tastes and smells. The "Americano" is my favorite to order at a coffee shop, so having a K-Cup titled as such intrigued me, but I was also hesitant because I know it's not REALLY an Americano. But this does the job. Bold, rich, strong flavor with a superb aroma. It's kind of an exciting first sip, full-bodied kind of taste. And it's not bitter at all, not flat or thin at all. Excellent all around. I didn't even mind toting around SKINNYGIRL and sharing with my team of mostly men at work.

Not for the faint of heart, this makes a strong cup! I ll buy again.

This is GREAT coffee, if you want full flavor; I use regularly, Keurig set on 6oz cup. BUT, be careful when ordering--1 source offers 48 count at $49.95 ($1.04/ea), another offers 48 count at $31.17 ($0.65/ea)--exactly same coffee, VERY different pricing.

I bought a box of Americano a while back and it had a nice strong, but not bitter coffee flavor. This time around I notice an after taste and smell of either hazelnut or French roast or something other than coffee. I'm guessing this can happen from sloppy cleaning during a changeover of a packing machine, unless I just got the first box after a changeover. Either way it's not bad enough that I won't drink the coffee, just annoying, and makes me a bit shy about buying again.

That it tastes like coffee

The product name and box graphics are certainly a departure from what one might expect for this type of product, though appealing in its own way. As for the product (Americano), it is as good or better than anything I have tasted coming out of a K-cup. It is dark, strong and smooth. There is really nothing else that I can add. This is an outstanding product that I would recommend to anyone.

I bought this thinking it would be a very bold and robust tasting coffee. I was a little disappointed. In comparison to a french roast pod, it is no stronger. Actually I would say a little weaker. Basic coffee flavor nothing special. I don't hate it, but I would not buy it again if I am looking for an "espresso roast" pod.

My first time to try this brand of coffee and I chose the espresso flavor for its dark brew and taste. I will suggest my daughters and family friends give it a try!!!

My first experience with the American coffee blend was in a small city just outside of Seattle, Washington, several years ago. I'd been visiting my daughter and her family and found a little, main street, ice cream parlour. It's a small city and most everyone knows every one so I was very surprized when I walked in and the lady said: you look tired, I have just the coffee you need! And that was how I first fell in love with Americano coffee blend. Every time I'd visit my daughter and her family I made certain that I stopped in for my Americano treat at least once. I'm unable to visit any more and missing out on my yearly cup or 2 of Americano has cropped up in several conversations with both family and friends. Needless to say when I found the Americano K cups on amazon I jumped at the chance to purchase a box. I was however a little cautious because I thought that being a K-cup blend might be less delightful than the Americano served in a mug at a cozy little ice cream parlour. We've only had the 24 pack for 5 days and already have to order another. That's not common for us but every one has enjoyed this blend and had a few more cups than usual. A current price of $16.99 for the 24 pack works out to 71 cents per cup. Although we usually buy a brand that runs around 54 cents per cup, we feel that the quality of the coffee and the added enjoyment we get from drinking it is worth this price. ( Though it would be nice if a coupon or sale happened so we could stock up on a few packages at a time )
